That gives ladies an idea of the trip ,any extras is good but is good to have a few pree bookings with deposits.

Has anyone else had difficulties getting providers to visit Boston? So far this year, I have tried to set up appointments with at least four providers who said they were coming to Boston but ended up not coming. One said she did not get enough pre-bookings to justify the expense of traveling here.

It's all getting rather tedious for me. I have a specific type that I prefer, and right now there is no provider of that type in Boston. So I watch to see who will visit. Then when I see a post of interest I take the time to contact the person, and we set up a time, but then later they email to cancel, saying they are not coming to town. I must say, it's not a very satisfying hobby. In the last several months, only one traveler who I wanted to meet actually came to town.

So I'm curious if others are having similar disappointments, and if there is something about the hobby in Boston that is discouraging ladies from visiting

A few possible reasons....

Hotel room prices are sky high and availability is limited in the summer months. I think most providers head south in fall and winter.

I have heard from some ladies that the cancellation rate tends to be higher here than most places they travel.

They can make more n NYC, Miami, etc....larger metro areas where the standard hourly is higher.

Ghidorah -

My sympathy is with you. A major cause of visiting ladies "backing out" of plans to tour in Boston is the sky high cost of hotel rooms.  The unpredictability in price of rooms is another factor. There is not enough supply of good hotel rooms in Boston.

We local ladies who would like to reserve a hotel room suffer the same horrid overhead!

As a person who travels to Boston quite often I would also say the cost of hotel rooms is the number one reason for backing out of an expected trip. I'd love to come and spend time in this lovely city more often (and enjoy your company) - alas, if gentlemen cannot commit to booking in advance its hard for me to travel down there.

Not saying I haven't or wouldn't do it for the right guy though ; - )

Yes hotel rates are high but the girls come anyway.

What special type are you looking for?

I enjoyed my time in Boston,  but the hotel rooms are higher then any other city I have ever been.  One night I paid 400 dollars for a room.  But the men gentlemen I encountered were great.

I think that rate is unusually high. Perhaps you hit the peak graduation time in May.

Remember, priceline is your friend...

I'm not talking about just Boston proper. They are either all booked and those not booked yet are extremely pricey or straight up motels.

I mean all of the surrounding suburbs!

Saw a 3 star in Cambridge for 619.

So, no, regardless of the method you choose for booking sometimes you just have to go somewhere else!

The rates are very high right now for rooms. Yes, agreed the rates are great for Priceline, but read the cancellation policy. If you have an emergency or any of your clients have to cancel at last minute, or if you have multiple cancellations, you cannot get out of the contract so you need to be 100% sure before booking.

Here is Priceline's policy:
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

you can usually see on the menu a minimum multiple hour engagement plus 50 percent deposit to specially request a lady that is out of state. Some may say for out of state request minimum 5 hour donation. Then they will list what they charge when touring in Boston which will be just a tad less than N.Y.  or same.
I had a guy request me in Burlington last week, But didnt want to give a deposit to cover the hotel room and the roundtrip cab. He wanted me to go there on a wing and a prayer hoping he wont cancel. And guess what after all my time he canceled.
Goodthing i hadnt booked a hotel in burlington!
He didnt even want to book the hotel for me for 80 bucks on  priceline negotiator! claimed the wife checks credit card.
You can use a vanilla visa to book a room so thats not a very good excuse, Any ways, .....................

If you and at least 2 or 3 others all give a deposit for her one hour tour rate i bet your bottom she will make it here. Just mentioning an interest , doesnt mean anything , Make an effort and maybe they will in return,  The cancelation thing is the factor they camt buy a plain ticket and hotel the money to get a pet sitter most escprts have kids and dogs and pets, Then the big rents on thier condo or apts back home, It is nuts i have no idea how ANY of them manage a tour . I sure as hell failed miserably anytime i tryed, Broke even and managed to have the trip covered, Never one did a trip and came home with anything to put towards my ginormous cost of living here in Boston. 1750 is my monthly rent and i live in  like a town way out of the city............Way cheaper rents around here. Imagine Boston? i checked rents in town for ocean front view apts, 2,300 is lowest you could find, And it aint the shore lostening to waves crash its just a water view. No where near as nice if you ask me i d take livin on the shoreline where i can hear waves crash over a view of a port, marina dockside, That is just a view there is no sand , no shore, no roaring waves.
OOOH! like right now the waves and ocean are roaring so loud i can hear it over my tv which is super high, ............
I dont know how they do it! It is crazy they manage to pull that off. I cant even get an appt my first day at the hotel cuz I take an entire day to get settledin and unpack.
If they get enought o do 50 percent deposits they will go. If a guy says he wants you to travel for him but wont give a deposit it just isnt legit,

I like Boston as myself, but it is true, it is very expensive this time of the year.  The prices of the hotels in Boston has gone up quite of bit for the last few years since I have been in the business.  There are all kind of things going on in Boston, not just graduations, but conference meetings from all kind of companies as well.  Sometimes it is hard to get a room there too.

Also, as far as cancellation goes, it works both ways: providers and clients.  I won't go to Boston, too many cancellation from clients as well.  I found out through the grapevine that couple of clients canceled on me and telling me that they are tied up at work or home, when couple of them changed their mind about seeing me and see different providers instead.  Sometime provider like me get stuck with a hotel that I have paid and it was too late to cancel the room.  So, you can't just blame on the providers only, things happen.
I am not from Boston, but I am an out of state residence too.

Missy

All across the board many indys have had more issues lately than ever before. If I was traveling without deposits it would be hard to book a tour its risky.
if you are serious about getting a lady to tour here offer her a deposit.

the $80 Backpage Special equivalent of the hobby side of the country -- AT THE MOMENT.  You can't put up an ad here anymore without a huge percentage of the responses you get asking for your specials, or double booking only to cancel at the last minute or no show completely.  Your city has some of the highest touring expenses in the country and you want to ask the girl for a half hour special to 'try her out before you book an hour"? Psh. w/e dude.

When I say this, of course I don't mean 100% of the hobbyists are this way, but it's a large enough number that will make you think twice about booking a tour to go there, only to have it fall apart within a day or two, after all the money has been paid out for your upscale hotel, plane fare, new lingerie, eros ads, P411 ads, etc...

There is a large amount of back channel gossip among the men there, more than I've seen anywhere else.  It results in men walking into your room only to have an air of "entitlement".  So strange. Guys trying bareback when you clearly state you don't do it.  It only makes the rest of the session uncomfortable.  Then hold the idea of a bad review over your head if you don't let some of them go over their time by a half hour or more? Again, I say psh. w/e dude.

Boston hobbyists will eventually come around again after they've had their fill of the influx of inexpensive and unreliable backpage girls, and playing Roulette.

Simple fact, if your city is great to visit, girls will tour there.

IF YOU PAY THEM, THEY WILL COME.

IF YOU APPRECIATE THEM, THEY WILL COME.

Too much run around for too little money and constant requests for special rates, and  last minute cancellations and now shows just isn't cutting it anymore for a lot of girls.

Meanwhile, enjoy the inexpensive girls and the pimps who run some of them

Yes, I have heard about these problems. It's no fun for me, because I strive to be a very responsible and reliable gentleman. I do not cancel, I do not ask for a lower rate, I do not feel entitled, I do not threaten bad reviews, and I strive to leave on time. I usually bring a small gift, and frequently tip, and strive to have both of us enjoy our time together.

I hope Boston becomes a more appealing place for providers to visit. One provider, whom I met in a different city, I have been trying to convince to visit Boston for nearly two years, but so far without success
