When I called CCBILL (they are the credit card company that does their billing) they said it looks like they are out of business. Oh really, what a surprise. I made CCBILL aware over a year ago that my website owed me money for having pictures and videos for members that paid for that service. When I travelled in the past, and if your website had too much traffic, you had to upgrade to the next package and sometimes end up paying 29.95 monthly.
Mr. Escort-site.com what goes around comes around my friend. Ponder on that one and just because your domain was in Canada they have rules and regulations too. I have your name and number. I filed it under Loser!

They have great packages for URL domain name and template for your site
It's easy to use and for the price - it can't be beat
Other design sites charge you of the templates and the domain... but if you have the domain already they might charge you a fee to link them.

If they are gone, bankrupt, out of business. You don't have much recourse. And the amount of money it would cost you to hire an investigator or attempt to sue them in another country will cost money that you evidently don't have to spend on this issue at this time. Might be better off just letting go. Getting angry won't solve anything and you should be meditating and concentrating on getting healthy. Don't sweat the small stuff. Many of us are in the same boat. Unfortunately now I have to build a new site too. I have the time, it's a new project that I can focus on.

It took months but the refund was processed by CCBill, they were very helpful.
They have been in business for quite some time, so I am amazed that they went down the tubes.
I highly recommend Cuties Tools aka Escorts.biz and they are wicked fast. Many options to choose from and they have a free trial, they're customizable and very affordable.
The downside is you'll have to place your domain name on back order (Approximately $25 thru GoDaddy) which will take you 2 to 3 months to redeem.
