Nerd Time: Virtual Reality and Porn?

Maybe this is just the extreme nerd lying somewhere dormant in me. But when I think about all of the logical applications for Virtual Reality / 3d viewing ... I'm thinking Porn. I remember when the internet basically debut'd in 1997. And you could tell back then the impact it could have on porn. But this virtual reality thing. For some reason there doesn't seem to be a lot of buzz around this topic. And there should be. Wouldn't you plop down a few thousand bucks and sport an awkard-looking pair of goggles while you view virtual simulations of great sex with amazing people? But I'm looking at this as more of a POV thing. Where the talent is taking their turn behind the camera in order to give the viewer a first-person perspective of the fun stuff. Am I crazy or just uber-nerdy to think this could be the next big thingThink of it this way. Let's say that you wanted to know what it was like to have sex with yourself. And believe me, I know a lot of people who probably do -- but imagine if your "acting" partner filmed his adventures with you doggy-style.
