Exactly my point. It's about money, not discretion in this case.

Guys could still screen shot the photos and plaster them all over the place after only having one guy pay to see them... duh. LOL. That's like not showing your face but having a member's gallery that does and being naive enough to think those photos are not going to get out. Again, duh.

This post is with little thought, maybe a bad idea. I have run across a few providers websites with PureVIP. All the photos are locked unless you pay and join. ?? Many ladies take pride in professional shoots, and recently a discussion was about even candid, or selfie shots.
If a lady is $$$$$, that is way too complicated to even think about contacting her! Just sayin'. Safety or paranoia? I would think they would want to wow as many hobbyists as possible. EOM

most of us have a few photo albums locked due having alot of pix And alot of guys just surf 4 pix n never plan on booking for.. this way we still make alittle $$$ of them..

Having read the comments, it sounds like you might be hurting your business by asking for money to view your photos.  Guys are likely to just look at another provider for their needs, instead of paying to see your pictures.

I would imagine. I have never charged guys to view photos but before I had them edited, I did password protect my site. Some providers have more to lose than others, is all I can say on the matter. When you have an ex trying to get custody of a child by proving the mother is doing questionable things on the side of her career, clients who got a bit too obsessive or some jaded provider trying to have you busted every other month, you will take precautions or disappear for a while like I had to do.  I do not see how making guys pay vs. simply locking the site is any safer. It's about the money in the instance you describe.

I thnk that get them a way to capture your email?
I never figured it out???
if you are afraid of any thing just fog or crop your face..
i really think it is to get you email address???
my 2 cents..
have a good one!!! every one

Yes, you have to email the provider for the password, generally but the last thing I want to do is 'capture' anyone's email. I don't even use that shit for screening or providing a reference. Those are for providers who require an email to even get on the site, so they can add it to a mailing list... I have never had a mailing list. Too much trouble and far too many contacts to keep.

I'm not sure how it would generate much/any money either. Surely those that are just looking for free pics will go elsewhere, and those that are genuinely trying to arrange a visit will be put off by not seeing any/all pictures and find someone else also?

If there is a safety issue, if the barrier is money it better be a high price - because if the pictures are available for money and you need/want to get at them for whatever reason, the means are there; you just pay the fee. To each his or her own, I guess.

In February I met this most beautiful blonde provider with a killer body in Nashville and she was complaining that her pictures were being copied and getting posted on BP with all sorts of names.    I suggested that she protect her pictures with a fee to weed out peeping toms as well as stalkers.

She did and now her web site says you have to subscribe in order to look at her pictures.

In my case it is the webhost that locked some photos and is seeking to charge. I use a generic free website and I suppose this is one way for them to generate revenue. Incidentally my site has went down several times and I am seriously considering having one professionally made. I should have done this long ago.

Escort Site "locked" some of my photos long ago without my permission to generate revenue - AND I do not have access to that revenue at all!
Also, they have been down several times...and I am losing my domain in August as they seem to be "missing"
sigh....

I actually didn't realize that my website that hosts my website locked it without notifying me... I ts now open.. I believe they do it to entertainers who's website gets a lot of hits.. But I was totally against it.. So All access it is!!!

I have XXX rated photos and videos for you TO REALLY ENJOY LOL!  You can't expect XXX for nothing babe! Especially since ALL THE BOARDS WON'T LET US POST XXX ANYMORE.

WHAT A FUCKING SHAME!

I know some sites take it upon themselves to stash photos into a pay to see file and all I did was swap them out.
The photos on display on my site are all photos that I show in my ads. What you see is what you get. And I never show any X rated photos or XXX rated actions or even unblurred  photos.  I keep that for our private time together.  I like mystery it can be stimulating.  And of course discretion for myself is of the upmost importance.

I'm working on my new website now so I will make sure to keep an eye out for those sites that do this.
