The last time I tried to tour Michigan, a deer leapt in front of my car. This time, a slight problem at the border (ie; I forgot to re-new my licence, so they decided it didn't count as photo ID), resulted in my entry into the US being denied.

As a result, I've had to cancel my trip to Traverse City, and won't be able to re-schedule until some time in April or May. All that, and I got stuck in a sucky hotel without internet access.

What is it about trips to Michigan that always seem to make things difficult for me??? I'm starting to think it's a sign from the touring gods or something along those lines... At any rate, freshly re-newed licence in hand, I plan to give it another go on Saturday. Wish me luck.

Chicago Gold Coast - February 25 thru 28th
Chicago O'Hare - Feb 28th - March 4th
Southfield &/or Port Huron Michigan - March 4th - 9th
