I accept requests for appointments up to a year in advance. Many providers that travel like advanced notice..... (I usually touch base w/ advanced appointments the week before the meeting and then ask that he confirms within 12 hours prior to the appointment)

If it is a rarity that you get to this City and don't want to take chances, I'd contact the selected providers as far in advance as you have available. She'll probably check her travel plans to make sure there isn't a conflict and then iron out the formalities as the date approaches.

I recently posted my travel plans for the next few months and I have noticed other providers that travel are doing the same. If the provider that you are planning on spending time with doesn't travel then advanced notice beyond two or three weeks probably isn't required..... traveling ladies, on the other hand always enjoy the advanced notice of requests. (Checking her web site should give you an idea of her travel schedule)

Have a great trip, (Texas has some really awesome providers!!) .........kisses ~T

and I book appointments up to a year in advance.

I LIKE to plan ahead, personally.  When a gentleman like you travels into town, it gives me time to pick a great dining spot

Also, if I schedule appointments in advance, it helps me better plan my travel schedule!

Greeting lovely Sarah..... I just mentioned awesome providers in Texas! what a treat to have you say hello! ~Looking forward to seeing you again.....kisses ~T

thank you all of you who have replied to my question should i email the providers and ask them about how early they book apointment if a person is coming in from out of town. and would like to makes extended evening appointments.

looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month in DC ;-D

upon the lass - most ladies will pencil you in ahead of time, some will but prefer no more than a weeks notice.  I have found when travelling, getting put on the calendar a month ahead of time is usually acceptable with followup confirmation a week ahead of time.  Simply put, just ask...

Having recently taken a business trip that was planned out well in advance, and having checked around for appointments equally far ahead... I felt like I could address this.

Some ladies love having several months of advance notice.  I never found one that was offended, although I did have a couple of them say, "I'm sorry, I don't book that far in advance, call me closer to when you're going to be in town."  It does give them plenty of time to complete screening, and for you to set up any plans for extended dates.

What got me into trouble was the way reality catches up to you.  My boss changed my work plan shortly after my arrival in Dallas, so my carefully arranged dates went right out the window.  I had planned to see three ladies, but only one could shift her schedule to accommodate me on such short notice.  I managed to get to see some other lovely ladies, but I had to do some rapid searching.

It helped that I had stayed on top of the local scene, reading message boards and looking at reviews and ads.  I had some alternatives in mind, and had my screening requirements lined up.  If I had stopped paying attention once my appointments were made, I'd have been in trouble.  Instead, I had noted a new lady to the scene, and made her acquaintance quite wonderfully, and also got to see another lady who had been on my short list originally.

Also, be aware that some people have situation changes that bring them into the business or get them out of it, and you may not get a lot of notice.  Confirm appointments close to the actual date, and be prepared to switch to "Plan B" if something falls through.  The corollary to this is that if YOUR plans change, tell the lady you booked with as soon as you possibly can, so she isn't counting on seeing you.
