Where does she come up with this stuff? When I was a kid, the boffins all were proclaiming the next ice age. Now if you question "settled science" -which is an oxymoron - you're a flat earth society, John Bircher, not worthy of serious intellectual challenge. But if you're one of the in crowd, meaning an unquestioning card carrying global warming alarmist, you can say just about anything and the hallaleuh chorus will nod along right with you. Sad.

But if this is true, this woman should be stripped of office and sent to a funny farm.  Also, if more women will become prostitutes because of Global Warming, then I'm in favor of it.

It's really not that shocking a claim. Whenever there are economic troubles the ranks of adult entertainers swell exponentially. Just look how many new providers turned up after 2008.

If your issue is with her taking climate change seriously, well, most sentient beings do. Whether it's man made or a natural cycle can be debated all you like, but unless you've been living under a rock or thrive on deep denial, change is happening whether we like it or not.

There was a similar democrat congressman who said on the house floor that if the US placed too many military personnel on the base located on the island of Guam, that it would make the island tip and lean to one side.
