Why would you possibly think country western would be the only option?

You need to get out more often.

Some Dallas residents might find your "assumption" a bit insulting

I will be visiting Dallas at the end of the month, and I LOVE to dance. I can do any type of partner dancing, swing, salsa, 2 step....... you name it.  I'm asuming that it will be mostly country western in Dallas, and I'd LOVe some suggestions on where my friend and I should check out while in town.My boots will be packed and ready to go! Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

For Country, there's Cowboy's Red River in Dallas off Northwest Highway, & Gilley's in Ft Worth

For salsa dancing, Gloria's in Addison has salsa dancing Fri & Sat night (the food is good as well!)

Another great salsa spot is Strato's Greek restaurant off Northwest Highway on Wed nights.   A friend and I went there to eat a late dinner, only to find the place absolutely packed with sexy salsa dancers. Bonus: the food is great! I recommend you uber or take a cab...parking is sparse, and the area is a little sketchy..

Thanks so much for the info!  I kind of assumed that country western would be the only option, but I love to Salsa too!

Not meaning to insult anyone love.  I know when I went to Houston a few years ago, that was the only dancing I found!  I love ANY dancing, so happy to know there are options.  What I DID find in Texas was that the men were the nicest gentlemen I had met anywhere!
