Razoo, Patos, Cat's Meow if you can take the shitty singing, Chris Owens, etc. Just walk down Bourbon and every bar is right there... you can peek before you go in. I am more of an Uptown, Irish Pub gal, so Madigans and Oak Street are where I used to stay. There used to be some dance clubs in Metairie in Fat City, but those days are long gone for me lol. I still remember Barts on the Lake lol.
Any suggestions as to what venues are the most fun places to perch in New Orleans? The locals always have the best advice on the dos & don'ts. I would greatly appreciate any input.
What time of year will you be there? Are you visiting to enjoy the food? Nightlife? It would be helpful if you would perhaps just share a little of what you enjoy - a lot to do in New Orleans.

lol London... There was just an article posted on a friends page on FB that were the 20 douchiest bars in New Orleans.. Pat O's and Razoo's was on the list... how funny!!! If you like a mix of 80's. 90's, and new music... can't remember the new name, but it used to be called BBC (Bourbon Blues Company).. any doorman will know what the new name is. Fun bar. It's the only place in the Quarter I go to. There's a new bar in Frenchman street called Bamboo something like that.. lol.. Great blues music and nachos are to die for... and if you want a laid back atmosphere.. Roosevelt Hotel.. Sazarac Bar... And Taylor rears her head back and opens her lovely mouth.. giggles...
