When does the clock start?sad_smile

I saw an agancy girl yesterday and was on time. Called for the room number and was told the maid is freshening up the room, we'll call you when it's ready. Well, twenty minutes later I get the call to go up. I didn't find out until forty minutes after that that my time was up! Seems like BS to me.

Similar things happen with the independants as well. How does one avoid getting short-changed by these tactics?

It may depend on where you are.  I personally would try another provider, esppecially if this happened more than once.  I always give the benefit of doubt the first time, but if it happens more than once, it is intentional.

If you are determined to stick with her, you could try politely asking when you get to the room what her policy on time is.

it should start once you are in the room. You only lost out on 20 minutes and the last 10 is used to get ready to leave anyway.

First of all, the logic that maybe it is policy is alot of crap, no matter where you are, agency or indy - especially if she is the one who is late, sounds more like overbooking.

Since you say this has happened on several occasions, your best option is to start doing your homework and start checking the reviews of these ladies before booking with them. With a reputable provider one of two things will happen: If she is late she will be more than apologetic and will probably extend your time somewhat to compensate your having to wait - or if you are late she will tell you upfront that she has a prior commitement and can only see you for xxx amount of time, giving you the opportunity to stay or go.  Of course if you opt to stay - never ask for a reduced rate, she was there and she sure can't sell that time to someone else.

The value of checking reviews first is priceless...

You should get the time you paid for if you arrive on time.  The example you describe is out of order as it was not your fault the session started 20 minutes late so you should not be penalised.

Any reputable indie will give you the time you've paid for or give you the choice to see her for a shorter time or make another appointment.

As suggested above, do your homework and read the reviews and hopefully you won't have these experiences again.

check out reviews... ushualy this happens with a provider who is not a gfe. Look for a gfe, treat her like the beautiful woman she is, find providers who love their work and you will go over on your time.
