Polk County is setting the bar for all LE and "human trafficking" stings (google it). MSNBC has created a whole series on the issue. The sheriff there does a semi-annual round up and usually boasts numbers of over 100 arrests. I've been able to identify the exact location of where his stings take place. His "method" is being adopted by other LE agencies around the country --- Chicago for example. I watched the entire series as a means of educating myself as to how stings are being set up and carried out. I learned A LOT!!

Something to be aware of if you don't have time to watch is if you show your face in your photos online you may very well be likely to being featured in one of the documentaries without any blurring of the face and for the entire nation to see. If you are caught on one of their documentaries MSNBC will run those documentaries for AT least 10 years which will negatively impact these ladies ability to leave the business, get a real job and lead a normal life. I was easily able to identify one of the ladies they picked up and noticed that she was a traveling pro that they busted up in the Chicago area previously. I was able to find her all over BP listed in several different cities. The johns that are busted and blasted on TV are subject to the same re-run exploitation and to continuously have their lives tampered with as well.  I could go off on a whole side tangent here about how LE makes it virtually impossible for someone to change their lives if their arrest is publicized on a national TV show but that's not the point of this post.  

Also, there is a new law surrounding our phones and computers and we can now be nailed for committing a crime with a technical device -- i.e. if you leave your gmail account open and you allow automatic log-in you could be in a world of hurt if they get their hands on it. My best advice on this one is to keep your phone password protected and to never accept a "free" phone call if you are arrested. LE will offer your phone to you and will allow you to use it IF you give them the pass code. Once you've verbally consented to give them a password they have full access to your phone.

The local news plastered all about the sting at the airport mentioning Italian co-ed, airport hotel area and picture of hotel. This ran on 5, 10 and 11 pm news. Next morning I checked BP and found a new ad mentioning college co-ed at airport area with no reviews for Orlando. I scratched my head and wondered ! Well the very next day on all local news channels they mentioned how people don't pay attention and had another big sting at the very same motel landed both men and women in jail. Yup, they arrested both escorts in one room who advertised on BP and Johns looking for some hot young action.
