I see a number of posts on here with people asking for short notice dates.

There is a good phone APP  - designed for users seeking hotel rooms at short notice.. It finds rooms available for same day and up to only 7 days in advance.

I have used it a couple of times in Vegas and was able to book rooms that were cheaper than online rates.

works with droid and IOS....look for "hotel tonight"

I love that app! I use it often but always check it against hotels.com because they tend to compete in prices. ;)
