That's a bit strange...

That there is no mention of a deposit on their websites.
Every lady is different but I would think that would be mentioned on ads and/or websites.
Perhaps guys paid deposit but never mentioned it in the reviews.
Maybe pm a couple of their reviewers and ask.
I don't require a deposit unless I'm traveling.

Hi All,

I'm not a very frequent hobbiest so I may not have had an opportunity to experience this but it got me wondering. One of the things I look for is if there is a connection or the provider is just gonna be there to hump and go. So, I'm planning a trip to LV and have been emailing a few women to see if we might be able to meet. Interestingly, in the last week I have had two women, highly rated but only a few reviews less than 20, ask for a deposit.I don't recall being asked for that before except in a case where I was looking for an extended date or asking a girl to drive a ways to see me - both of those scenarios is understandable. In the two recent cases I'm just looking for a traditional 1 - 2 hour appointment. Furthermore, when I emailed one of them I said I could give a firm date but no deposit. I got an email back that basically said  well, I guess, but won't guarantee the date. Seriously?

First of all, after reading the reviews I didn't recall seeing anyone say that a deposit was required and their sites do not say one is required either. Second, that kind of response just sends signals that I may be heading into a hornets nest. Kinda weird bc their reviews have been very good - 9.5+ or so.

Are others experiencing this? Or am I making a mountain over a mole hill?

Every lady has her own way of being comfortable and securing an appointment.  I personally do not require a deposit for a typical  appointment (for me 1/2hr to full day).  However, some ladies do and that is what would need to be done to confirm with them.  If the ladies are highly rated/reviewed then I would think that they are legit in honoring the appointment as agreed.  But just like some of us ladies have our way, some guys do too and many guys dont like to give certain info or pay a deposit.  Its all about personal preference and what you are comfortable with.

I hope you have fun in Vegas and whoever you see you have a GREAT time!  ;)

I've never heard of a deposit requirement for a short term appointment, either down there in LV or up here in the northwest.  Could just be an overreaction because of late cancellations or no shows.  Sounds like a sure fire method for becoming an ultra low volume provider.  LOL

I can't speak for others and their policies. We all run our businesses differently. I do require deposits on dates that require me to travel and cancellation 24 hours or less before a date is supposed to happen. I hope this helps.

more than a few anecdotes on these boards of a hobbyist giving a deposit to a provider and the provider doesn't show up and skips out with the deposit.  I wouldn't pay a deposit unless I was seeking more than a 2-hr session.  I think most legitimate providers would be okay with that standard.

With that said, if you're seeking to book a long way out, then that may be the reason they are asking you for a deposit.  I know you want to have your schedule set, but if you make contact less than a week out, or better yet, once you are actually at your hotel in Vegas where they can verify you as a registered guest, you are less likely to encounter a deposit request.  Just my opinion based on my own experience in LV.  Others may have different advice.

It may well be that they need the cash now.

I've had dozens of dates in Vegas, some extended and have never given a deposit

I do not ask for deposit and most dont. I would be happy to meet and have pages of highly rated reviews here on TER

I know I recently came to the conclusion that I will shortly be requiring deposits for an engagement over 4 hrs. It's a personal decision for each of us and I know some recent cancellations made me rethink my requirements. With that being said, though, if you're looking for anything under 4 hours deposits aren't an issue. Highly reviewed and for a good reason, if you're still in the decision making process, I'd love to help you make up your mind:)

The one and only time I gave a deposit ( to a very reputable provider I have seen before, Piper of AZ ) I got screwed and that cost me $1200 +. There is absolutely no reason for you to give a deposit. If they do not want to see you, move on. There are plenty of amazing ladies to choose from that do not require a deposit.

its simple .. girls will ask for as much as they can get away with.   its up to the customers / marketplace to decide what is acceptable.    since there is no liability to someone who received a deposit and then doesn't show or provides less than acceptable performance i have long decided not to provide such.    if references are not sufficient then one should move on.

in the past i have given deposits to highly rated ladies i had seen before and then they flake or something happens and its gone.    or in one case she showed up but wasn't feeling 100% and cut the session far short, of course no refund.    sadly too many only think short term

Thanks, everyone, for your replies. I understand everyone is different and each provider has the right to make up their rules. I would never try to argue a girl out of her established rules. Just found it strange that none of the reviews I read mentioned the requirement nor their web sites. Perhaps things are going so well for them that are able to require the deposit now. I will say, however, that the date is a month and a half off - which isn't uncommon for me - so perhaps that's at play as well.

At any rate, I will put off making any appointments with them if they require a deposit for a 1 - 2 hour date. Unfortunate, bc they do look hot. Maybe I'll try closer and see how it goes. Meanwhile, there are a few girls whom I have met before, are hot, and have no problem making a date so far in advance.

After my last deposit experience, which was to fly a lady to me, and the poor result I had. I will not do anything requiring a deposit again. To the ladies on here who are trustworthy and reliable I say sorry. I guess it means no more extended visits or brininging ladies to me  but it is just to much of a crap shoot with hard earned cash to just take a chance.

And this isn't the first time I've heard stories like this. Never deposit on 1 or 2 hour dates....
