My serious  point is though that as smart as some people in this country are (and as dumb as a whole lot more are) we should be able to do something constructive to stop these massacres that are going to increase and become more frequent occurences. I think I'm right about that.  And we're not talking about responsible sane gun owners.  And I know the analogy could be extended to cars.  There are a lot of them in my city and salonpas' city I'd like to see never on the roads.

But it's a quintissential political 3rd rail to an infinite degree, and nothing will be done.  Mitt "I don't release taxes" because I don't want my unaudited cheating on gift taxes to come out" Romney will issue his robotic regrets and Obama will do the same wondering what the probability is it would impact people he and  Michelle  really know as does everyone.

I haven't seen anyone here suggest that there is a way to stop these more frequent massacres.  I  don't know how many were wounded or worse, because I can only take a couple of minutes of CNN's stupidity before I want to throw an autographed NFL ball  through the TV.

Politically nothing's going  to happen, and in the spirit of Camus, I'm not sure what could have any efficacy although there might be some  type of assault weapon control that would help. And no I  don't know what was used at Wisconsin, and  arming the kids in the church isn't the answer.

The last Assault Weapons ban, as all the gun afficianados know was a joke. It  really was a cosmetic meaningless gesture and gun advocates opposed it as a symbol just as they claim Obama's bringing black choppers to take away their guns  when they know Obama wouldn't touch gun control any more than Romney or  any politician would.  This  is  a Congress that is run by lobbyist funding by big Daddy War Bucks and nothing meaningful is going to be legislated if it could. That  much  you can take to the bank--an offshore  bank, where you don't pay any gift taxes when you give millions to the boys (and I don't mean your  balls).
