Just a PSA about a pet peeve.

Nobody's perfect, but I can't always figure out what is being written when the English is garbled by bad spelling. Grammar seems to be lacking as well, but I suppose some people are just addicted to typing as if they are sending a text message or IM as if this was AOL in 1999. Or maybe don't drink and email/text/post on public message boards.

but it is sometimes a fun mental exercise to try and figure out what you were trying to say. So I shouldn't complain.

which for anyone who doesn't know means your comprehension of reading.
I know for me I never have a problem trying to get the gist of what their idea or main objective is there trying to get across despite their typos.
but then again my English Composition scoring on national average is extremely high!!!
at least according to this adult equivalency exam I had to take at the East Boston Adult Education Center in order to be accepted to cosmetology school I graduated from ages ago''
you have to take a look at the word and see the misspelling and you have to kinda try to think okay what words were they trying to say--
it's usually not major I can usually get a just for what they're trying to get across I guess some people just aren't good at reading comprehension and they get their panties in a bunch cuz they're not good at understanding reading it's usually not hard to get a feel for what they're writing if you really take time and think
! :-)
then there is the lovely ignore button which you are free to use if you can't handle people to type fast or use talk to text or otherwise just don't care about tiny typos I know for me I never had a problem understanding any single person to post on here and I've been on here since 2011 not once have I had a problem understanding what someone wrote despite typos!!!
but then again reading comprehension is my strong point everybody has strong points everybody has low points
your strong point is punctuation and language arts--------obviously.
and I'm just going to guess that you're really good at math people with mathematical type brains are usually not as artistic or poetic or inclined to be writing music or doing other creative left brain activities which sometimes do in till being a little more creative or maybe even using slang or abbreviations that may not be formal writing procedure.
I know for me I am also very left Brained  am inclined to writing music,  melodies and do lots of art and things with my hands

The right side is usually thought to be the side that contains more artistic impulses, and the left more locical/mathematical. But I do get the gist.

I'm actually less of a mathematical type. I majored in journalism and only because I thought it was a waste of free college to gain a degree in creative writing, which is my true passion. I suppose it is the ever enduring quest to excel in my artistic field that makes me stress spelling/grammar. I do sometimes worry English is a devolving language.

Sometimes I just can not understand some of my emails though I do try.

I worry some ladies forget that TER is a tool for marketing so keeping things professional is a best practice.
