my sense is that among the TER membership these "fringe" fetishes are (more) rare ... i'd guess that less than 10% of regular TER members are interested in such things (but i could be wrong) ... i think it has something to do with the socio-economix and lifestyles of the membership ranks (or some other hand-wavy factor)

in porn proper that's a different story. if you read the post (mentioned above) you'll get a sense of how (in their personal lives) some pornstars may in fact develop a [cough] taste for the "outre" ... i've always felt this must be from getting jaded and bored with "vanilla sex"  which in their case is a standard job "hazard"  (i know over the years, with age, i certainly have become "kinkier" and with a vengeance) ...  the other reason is that fetishes like watersports (golden AND brown) are a niche market (especially abroad) and somewhat lucrative and (repeat after me class) "whatever sells excells!"

Before Bush and his lil' buddy John Ashcroft took office, the trend in porn was to continually "up the ante" in extreme sexual activities... Companies like Extreme and Evil Angel were always looking for cutting edge stuff.

Years ago, anal sex was an occasional thing in porn... then it became the "in thing", and now almost all videos include many anal scenes.

Then bukakke and 500 man gang-bangs starting showing up in porn in more and more titles.  Then came fisting and  Deep throat until the girl choked or puked started showing up.

While I find this stuff personally distasteful, obviously it sold, and sold big, so I guess I'm in the minority... money talks, bullshit walks, and that's why everyone started to do it.

After Dubya was elected, the industry sobered up and realized that they better back down on a lot of the more extreme stuff, but the proof was in the pudding; there is obviously is/was a huge maket for this stuff.  The "big thing" now seems to be Ass To Mouth, (ATM) relatively mild compared to the other stuff, but again, it must sell videos, because you're seeing more and more of it.

My point being that we might be surprised at how many hobbyists are into, or at least curious, about some of the more "out there" activities, and I guess watersports (or more specifically, golden showers)  could be considered one of the milder  fetishes.

But even though a lot of guys might be interested, I think it's still thought of as a guilty little secret, which is why it isn't discussed much openly on the boards... Greek has become so accepted that it doesn't fall into the "dirty" category any more, but watersports is still considered by many as deviant.
