Did not have a weird smell, not sure why I remembered it that way (from only a month ago, yes the fc2). Wasn't particularly difficult to put in, but I was lying on my back (so I suggest that) and it was round two which also may have made it easier.
Felt...ok to me. I was able to...finish, which is about a 50/50 shot usually. He was not... Said it felt eh and he couldn't stop noticing it (yes, lots of lube).

I've tried FC2's many times, and I've had both good and bad experiences with them. But, the bad experiences were all with ladies that didn't have a lot of experience with them. The provider that I've used them with most often seems to have figured out how to insert them correctly, and I haven't had any problems for quite a while. Unlike male condoms, they aren't circularly symmetric. Instead they have a front and a back side, and I don't think that the instructions really give enough detail to know exactly how to put them in.
On the other hand, it could be that they just don't fit some women that well. So, it could be that they just aren't for you. Fortunately, Bill Gates is funding the development of some new versions with the aim of providing condoms that will feel a lot better, so that they'll be used more often. So, there could be better options in a year or two.
