I've been on Coumadin for more than 20 years and it's never been a problem. Does not affect your sexual activity in any way.

I have just been put on a blood thinner.  Is this going to be a big problem?  Thanks

Ask your DR. and don't let your lady BITE! anything. lol

I'm on Xarelto right now.  I see the cardiologist on Thursday.  I appreciate your comments.

Could be a real hindrance.  You better have a long, serious, candid talk with your doctor. Some doctors act like people don't have sex or minimize the sexual side effects.

Is this going to be long term and related to a heart problem?  What other meds are you on?  Do you use viagra etc. ?

I was on it for three months after I threw a blood clot.  Successfully hobbied very carefully during that time.

Even afterwards girls were cautious about me after I told them the story.  Thought I might die then and there.
Everything is fine now.

About four years ago at age 71, I was diagnosed with an afib. For the first three years, I was on a daily, full aspirin regimen  For the past year, I have been on one of the new blood thinners (Eliquis).  During this entire period, my doctors have not put any restrictions on sexual activity or the use of ED drugs (Cialis in my case).  On average, I have sex about once a week.  I have suffered no side effects or drop in performance.

Thanks.  I'm happy to hear that.  Ironically, I'm having the best sex of my life right now

Have much experience with it...more of a problem if you don't take it and have long term complications like a stroke!  Goodness l-now that does get in the way...but really, a good provider that enjoys older gents knows how to rub in just the right way to satisfy both the body and the mind...ego will follow.

No problem with coumadin itself . I enjoyed using a penis pump. However, with the coumadin can't do anymore . Get bruises and am afraid of bursting a vessel .
