There is Sex, and then there is Tantric Sex

Of course, with traditional sex, you can feel connected as well. It's not quite the same as a Tantric connection and “On the contrary, the more controlling we are, the more hardened, rigid, mechanical, mindless, and out of tune with the flow of life we can become", seems to sum up the majority of sex being had in this day & age.

Like you, I am fortunate to have several tantric connections over my short lifetime and there is no comparison to traditional sex. It transforms you and leaves you wanting more. It spoils you in the sense that empty, meaningless connections, whether in or outside of the bedroom, are not good enough anymore. And that shift, is what people are afraid of. Because then, they may become unsatisfied with their life, all that was tolerable is not any longer. Which means change, which means they may lose things or people important to them. Once you start on the Tantric path, there is no going back. Gratefully.

This, sums up for me, just how intimate a Tantric connection is: "Pay attention to whom you share your intimate energy with. Intimacy at this level intertwines your aural energy with the aural energy of the other person. These powerful connections, regardless of how insignificant you think they are, leave spiritual debris, particularly within people who do not practice any type of cleansing, physical, emotional or otherwise. The more you interact intimately with someone, the deeper the connection and the more of their aura is intertwined with yours.

Imagine the confused aura of someone who sleeps with multiple people and carries around these multiple energies? What they may not realize is that others can feel that energy which can repel positive energy and attract negative energy into your life.

I always say, never sleep with someone you wouldn't want to be." ~Lisa Chase Patterso

Preface

Every so often, it’s time to press the reset button and bring clean, fresh energy into our lives…

Is it possible?

Let’s stop time and become still

As if this moment will be the only moment that will ever exist

Introduction

“Separation is an illusion. Sometimes it is a joy to feel our edges bump against the edges of other people in a heated conversation, laughter, healing, or a kiss.“

Giving Birth and Transcendence

I came across an interesting book while casually surfing in the holistic health section of a bookstore. A book on the role of prehistoric women and men and how they viewed sexuality.  As the saying goes, when looking for the answers, go back to the beginning.

Women’s vulva or “lily’ was seen as a portal for bringing a soul into this world of physical form, and thus naturally for reaching the Other side. It seems our ancestors had discovered the art and science behind Tantra.

“Sex can be one of the deepest and most profound meditations. “

I would not have fully understood the meaning behind this, if it weren’t for having experienced the ‘transcendental’ effects myself. At least once, it triggered an OBE (out-of-body experience) where I was floating a few inches above my body looking down at my partner. Another time, whole sections of time went missing. If you asked me what had occurred those few hours, I would have no memory. Just Blank. Like I was there in physical reality, then I was gone. Then I had come back. With no recollection. Quite mystifying if we think about it. But in Tantra, we don’t think. The mind is of no use here. This is the realm of the Divine.

And yet, another time, I actually felt both of us of us merging out of our bodies, becoming intertwined for seemed like a brief moment (but was hours when I later checked) without even initiating sexual intercourse.

Tip: To induce these high states, we are raising sexual energy together and maintaining it for quite some time (normally 2-3 hours), without release. This will feel natural not forced. You won’t be ‘thinking’ about it. Another symptom other than the OBE/merging is the feeling of being drugged. Your brain chemistry is going haywire.

This is also great for clearing your chakras and increasing your vitality (life-force). As we tap into our sexual energy, we keep raising it and channeling it higher and higher, ideally rarely releasing it. Excess sexual release is not encouraged

How do we explain this technology, and more importantly what purpose does it serve?

The ‘transcendental portal of women’ was seen as a gateway for liberation, to escape these physical bodies and experience our souls merging. To experience ‘Oneness’. To remind us of our true {higher} nature

Tantra essentially stands for union

“Part of sexual practice is to connect. Connect sexuality, consciousness, spirituality, so that what may have begun solely as a physical practice can evolve into an integrated  and holistic approach to all aspects of one’s life.”

Back to the book, so the story goes temples were set up with women offering these type of experiences and all was well ….until the Christian church claimed all this ‘supernatural activity’ was obviously the work of the devil and must be shut down. (sigh, party poopers) and Tantra went underground, known only to the few …or the lucky ones who accidentally triggered it (such as myself)

“Tantra shows the importance of surrender or letting go to life, with a beginner’s mind, riding the wave of all the senses, of sexuality, connection, and merging in the bliss of love. “

(The love mentioned here is the universal sense of existing in love, being made of love, created for love)

“On the contrary, the more controlling we are, the more hardened, rigid, mechanical, mindless, and out of tune with the flow of life we can become. “

In other words, we remain humble, asking, Show me, Teach me, I Know Nothing

“The heart of the practice is directing devotion to the magic, mystery, and beauty of life.”

How many of us have experienced this while caught up in the arms of a lover? J

“A lifetime of living and learning that nurtures our being and enriches the days of our lives…

I agree completely. BTW I have that second picture hanging on my wall. It's a painting by Andrew Gonzalez.
A tantric massage provider I know sent me the first picture. I feel that connection happens in both tantric and non tantric sex. It's the moving of energy between two people engaged in sex. One has to be careful though. If your partner has negative energy it can be transferred to you.

It's entirely possible for two people to have a connection, without even meeting. Months and months and months can pass without any words exchanged. Then you wake up one morning to find that yet another synchronicity has occurred. When there is a connection on such a deep, soul level, while you may think she is gone, she will always find a way back to you. And you, to her. It's pretty neat, wouldn't you agree?

For sure, connections can happen on all levels of sex. I think we've all had those encounters that leave you walking on air, aka the endorphin rush. But with Tantra, it is an extraordinary experience that requires trust, an open heart & open mind. Without those three things, a good old fashioned rush of chemicals it will always be.

Andrew Gonzalez is such a gifted artist, his work was shared with me by a dear friend of mine, he also practices Tantra. The universe works in mysterious ways. ;

Synchronicity is a term a friend of mine used a lot. We never met but exchanged a lot of emails about life events. All those emails and her email ID were lost when my email account was hacked. I am sure well connect again soon.

I'm so sorry to hear that happened, how disappointing for you, though when there is a will, the universe provides a way. Gratefully, my friend uses his first name & the abbreviation of the city he was/is now in, and we even share the same email provider. While it may seem like it at times, all is never really lost. It's all about the timing
