Julia you seem very educated on all threads and who's who in a lot of states but it seems when ever I ask a simple question it gets all misconstrued. I have heard of Ybor city and was told to stay away b/c its mostly a younger crowd that get extremely drunk and do a lot of drugs. That's Not my idea of fun so I am staying away from that area, I might try it out if I was with a bunch of people because then I would feel a lot safer.
I haven't heard of Mon' Venus so why don'y you enlighten me.

are you going away for Turkey day? I know a lot of you NYer's have family coming there but was kinda curious so I can figure how bad traffic will be etc....
I also was wondering where are some cool spots in Tampa for a single lady to go and have some fun but be safe at the same time. I know the airport area and Clearwater a little but that's it.
I normally stay in town n have a friends only turkey day since I travel for xmas/new years. but this yr I got wind that family is gonna surprise me fr turkey day .. so.. that will b a nice surprise
