just as there are guys who are attracted to the chase and a cycle of let down and disappointment, there also guys who are attracted to taking a risk on the likes of shannon etc. seems there are all kinds of niches out there all of these pathological folks.  long live variety i guess...

got stood up by this lady (as i understand is her pattern)... is it worth the trouble to pursue further?

I hate to sound so negative...  those of you that know me know that that's just not my nature.  There are a few girls her in the cities who cater to the "chase" guys, the guys whose interest is picqued by having to jump through hoops.  For some, the perceived value of the provider's affections increases with their scarcity.

Sometimes we work hard to attain a goal...  And the value we place on the goal is based on how hard we worked to attain it, not on its real value to us.  This subconscious dynamic is what keeps gals like Menaje in business.

I guess my advice is this...  If you're one of those guys who likes the chase...  Who's internal voice says "if she makes me work for it, it must be really good"...  or who likes the challenge of "maybe I'll succeed where lesser men have failed" then by all means, keep at it.  And I don't mean to imply there's anything wrong with that, there are some guys who do like the game.

If not, I think you're barking up the wrong tree.  Just remember it took MPR-Man not one, or two, but SEVEN attempts to see a provider whose performance average is around 7, and then do your own math.

I think her no-show reputation is really just a byproduct of the combination of her numerous personal obligations and her inability to deal with conflict/confrontation. She will usually just ditch rather than offer an explanation for a schedule conflict or double booking. This creates the impression that she plays the hard to get game which works for her in some ways I guess. She's been worth the effort for the few times I've seen her, and the miscommunication decreases with familiarity. It can be quite frustrating, though.
