If there was no BBBJ in this business, it would be so boring.   A covered BJ might be considered sex to some, but to me it is like a woman sucking on a balloon.  Then you might as well just go to a massage parlor and save your money.

He is supposed to make an announcement tomorrow that he has HIV.  We all know he loves to hang out with porn stars, and some work on the side as providers.  I know people can live with HIV, but the medication regimen is a bit much.

Regardless of the choices he's made in his life, I hope he will be able to see his children become adults

Of HIV patients is pretty good these days.  I used to work in a clinic with a lot of patients coming in.  I remember one woman dressed just like a provider, and she was picking up her medication.  You would never know she was taking the medication, and she looked perfectly healthy.

You are right, it has improved fairly rapidly since I retired and took microbiology classes to broaden my world.

judging by Dennis Richard's story, he's had it for 9 years.

Good for him ... I'm glad he got away from the blackmail. Noone needs to live with that.

The survivial rate is very good these days and the stigma attached to HIV needs to be stopped.
Anyone could have it. The general population likes to ride the "holier than thou" train.
That needs to be stopped
There are people who are prositive who did NOT acquire HIV due to their lifestyle.. such as children who were born with it.

Im sure he will do just fine.
Magic Johnson is still going strong.. and he was diagnosed when I was still a kid!

People die much fast from cancer .... colon cancer is a major killer in the USA, eosophagal cancer is 18 months at best and pancreatic cancer just 3 months.
Plus he has HIV .. he doesnt have AIDS. And you don't die from HIV. (well, technically you don't die from AIDS either.. but from cancers or flu due to immunity being so low)

So instead of vilifying Charlie for his lifetsyle choices.. perhaps the public should be more concerned about how much they smoke, alcohol they drink and how much meat they eat.

One should be concerned about...

It is VERY difficult/almost impossible to get HIV or AIDs from sexual intercourse or oral sex.

It requires blood... rough anal sex increases the odds...

But mostly, from my research (that I did for my doctorate), it is from intravenous drug use and sharing of syringes...

Don't let this situation scare you away from us healthy, drug-free providers!!!

You are right.  Most providers that are infected are lower end, and use drugs.  Hobbyists at the level of most of the ones here needn't be too worried.  Just use common sense.  I have walked out on a few provided that seemed like they were high when I arrived.

Because we have to have full blood screening for STDS every 14 days.

In almost 20 years Ive been in porn I can count the number os actorss who got HIV on my fingers,..
the guy who got it early 2000's and gave to 2 other actresses got it from a TS in Brazil,.. and the coulpe (bf/gf) who most recently got it was from intravenous drugs.

Even if were as high as 10 actors .. out of thousands of people in porn over those 20 years.. its virtually non existent in the industry

Do all call girls adhere to biweekly testing? Or, is this a porn industry protocol?

With regard to HIV prevention, what precautions do the women who advertise their services here take?

Is a male or female cover adequate protection against all STDs?

their health, life, and loved ones should be getting tested routinely!!!  And depending on how active you are you should be getting tested accordingly (I'm sure most of us need it more than just 2 times a year).  Just sayin

There are no rules for escorts - How can you regulate an illegal activity?!

They do as they please, you have no way to know .. you could ask... but I don't inagine a provider pulling out her health report along with her ID (revealing her actual identity) to show you.
I would like to hope that any escort would go for regular screening, if not for her clients safety then at least for her own health.
TBH I think that most of the good providers here are professional & smart enough to look after themselves nicely.
This isn't CL :-P

In countries where prositution is legal (and in Nevada in the brothels)  there a mandatory health cheek per month or more for girls working in house.
Here you take your chances.
Also any uncovered service is illegal... YES this includes BJs

Cover for STD's?... most STIs can be acquired from oral sex:

Basically everyone wants or gives BBBJ
In fact a provider needs to offer it to get  10/10 review unless shes going to do MMF greek instead !:

http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/submitReview.asp:
In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

This does not mean she earns extra points for offering the service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is performed during your session with her. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she offers, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score.

If your review rates a provider higher than her maximum score, the score will be adjusted down to her maximum.

Actually this review system is seriusly flawed since it pressures providers to offer services which may be outside of their own comfort levels just in order to get a 10 score.. but hey! That's what happens when all your review is on a site created by men for men !!! *rolleyes* (thats an entire rant for another time.)

So I'll leave it up to your imaginations.
Not trying to scare anyone.. just giving the honest facts

Thank you for a very informative and insightful comment. HIV is not obvious, but some of the common STDs are visible enough if one looks carefully. I don't know if many women do basic inspection.

I agree that TER's point system is harsh. I couldn't give a high score even if I felt it was a highly satisfactory session because the lady didn't perform certain acts, which I did not ask for in the first place.

When HIV would almost certainly lead to AIDS and a relatively short survival period, some patients wanted to "cash in" their life insurance policies early to give them funds for treatments or just to better enjoy their last healthy months on earth.

Well some banker types started buying the policies, but as life expectancies lengthened the bankers discovered they had paid far too much for the policies.

Just thought someone would like a story about bankers getting screwed
