would be interested in a Veteran's Day Special if a lady wouldn't mind coming to Lake Mead and spending some time on the yacht as that is where I will be Tuesday night and Wednesday until 6pm or so.

PM me please.

No offense.........honestly, but what military person could afford even your reduced rate?  Still I admire your entrepreneurial spirit........and believe in our capitalistic society..........a commodity is worth whatever a client is willing to pay.

I don't publicly advertise it on my site due to porn politics but I have always offered discounts and will continue to do so:)

Wishing everyone the best,

I have always been curious about this whole offer. I myself am a veteran and was wondering how that worked, big tip? extended dinner date? Nice gift from wishlist.

I do have a list of places around vegas offering free stuff and meals to veterans and I plan on taking full advantage of this.

. . . . that was many years ago, so how do you ladies verify vet status?  I could show you some wound scars, but by then, I am already disrobed and we are into the session?

Hopefully no one would  lie about  it. You can show the lady your military id?

Discharged vets don't keep ID's, only active and retired have those.

Dd-214? I kept my ID when I was discharged. I was supposed to turn it in my claimed I lost it. I wanted to keep it as a souvenir.

I am more than happy to provide a special for veterans. It must be possible to validate the claim, though. Once that is done game is on

I'm going to be making my first trip to Vegas in connection with a business trip in January, so I thought I'd take a look through the board and see what the hobby is like in the area.  This thread caught my attention.  Not only am I a vet, but much of my professional life involves assisting vets with disability issues.

Anyway, the US currently recognizes two "official" holidays related to military service, and one unofficial one.  Veterans Day honors those that previously served in the military.  It's always on November 11, which is a nod to the armistice that ended WWI (as mentioned above -- the 11th hour  on the 11th day of the 11th month).  Originally it was called Armistice Day, and was intended to honor the vets that returned from WWI.  Following the Korean conflict the nation felt it was important to also honor the veterans of WWII and Korea, so the name was changed to be more encompassing.  Memorial Day is the second official federal holiday. It's always celebrated on the last Monday in May, and is intended to honor those who died while serving.  I always found it interesting that Veterans days honors the living, but does so on a day during one of the gloomier months, but Memorial Day honors the dead during a weekend that has now become synonymous with beaches, bikinis, and bar-b-ques. The third holiday is Armed Forces Day, and it recognizes those who are still currently serving.  It's celebrated on the third Saturday in May, and although it has been recognized by the Department of Defense since 1950 it's not an "official" federal holiday.

Just a few fun facts for a Monday morning.  Although I'll miss the Veterans Day specials discussed above I'm very much looking forward to visiting in January and can't wait to meet one or two of you while I'm in the area
