Def-Con 5 must mean the worst case scenario; launching of nuclear weapons in anger. Wood-Con 5 must therefore be the nightmare the potency drug companies warn about: "Any erection lasting more than four hours requires immediate medical attention." I'm glad I've always launched at 4.

I was cruising by the U of M campus the other day admiring all the hotties and happened to mention that I was at "wood con 3," a take-off on the old "DefCon" (Defense Condition) readiness levels similar to the "ThreatCon Bravo" that has been used through the 90s. It has obvious applications to the hobby, hence the reference.
Unfortunately, at my age, it would take quite a crisis to get me to "wood con 4".
