Assuming the Agency you worked with is a good one, I would reach out to them about tours in Chicago. I am sure they are not happy about losing your business and are would be happy to keep you in the loop about possible future visits. You could also try one of the highly rated agencies on here (TLC, HelpUBookHer, etc), who I am sure would be happy to work with you. You could also keep an eye on the local strip clubs to see who would be feature dancing in the upcoming months, and contact the agency about them putting aside some time for you when they are in town (usually on a Sat afternoon).

When trying to see a porn star during a convention always have a back up plan in mind. I scheduled for a particular girl and when the time came something came up, tried to switch to outcall but still didn't meet up which leads me to my next point.
Don't get stuck on your minor wants. After the girl didn't show, the agency texted to see if she did show, and when I told them that they didn't they right away offered to set something up with someone else who "checked all the boxes" except for one. So instead of taking that appointment I got hung up on something that while I would of liked I really didn't want, and turned it down. Now a few days later I'm kicking myself for not taking that appointment.
Direct booking is a crap shoot at best. The next day at the convention I tried to set something up directly, all seemed well until the time came and there was no call or text from the girl. Now with an agency I would think that you usually would be able to get a different girl within a reasonable amount of time, but booking direct you have to start from scratch. Now if you have a previous relationship with a girl you might increase your odds but if you don't your best to just go through an agency. This also leads to the next point

I was stupid and did it, but (at least I'm telling myself this to not make me feel even more stupid) I was talking to the girl and she brought it up (yes I kind of steered the conversation that way) and it was15 minutes after the convention started that day so there was hardly anyone there. Normally there will be hundreds of people around and at anytime someone can come up and be close enough to hear what you are talking about.
I still want to see a porn star and I still will use the same agency, The only problem is that the 20 something porn stars don't exactly tour Chicago regularly. So I will probably have to wait till the next Exxxotica to try, but try I will.

Certainly is disappointing when plans don't work out. Unfortunately, I know of no guarantees, either by person or agency, when indulging in the hobby especially PSE style. Guess that's where good sources of info and reviews come in. I'd have to figure though that trying during Exxxotica would make things more difficult, especially if others have the same idea as you do. That's a lot of demand on top of their other obligations. You might just do better crossing your fingers for a tour or venturing out a bit yourself. Just out of curiosity, which 20-something's are you aiming for?

I used TLC during Chicago Exxxotica and was very pleased. One can also search P411 for porn stars and agencies.
I do plan to try to keep a look out when stars tour to Chicago. Problem is that I don't live anywhere near Chicago (it's the closest big city at 3 hours away), so sometimes its hard to keep up with who is coming to Chicago as I can't just be up there at a drop of a hat.
I really don't want to mention the agency because in my mind they did a good job, it just was one of those things that happen and can't blame them.

I'm pretty sure the point was in the first sentence of the post. It's just a cautionary tale about what did and didn't work when he tried to book someone. The name of the provider doesn't matter.
