There's no one size fits all with my menu. I am open to most anything as long as it's safe and feels good. One thing guys must remember is that they must also make sure their nails, even if they are really short and clean can still be a problem if they have been recently trimmed but not also smoothed out with emery or a file. A freshly trimmed nail can be very jagged and sharp. I for one am very particular about this.
I can picture in my mind the trail of objects that are touched on the way to a meeting. A steering wheel and gear shift are pretty germy. I ask on my site that our meeting begins with the washing of hands. I guide him to the sink shortly after arrival, especially if he starts to zone in on kitty. It gives me a chance to rub his back or be a little naughty while he is occupied and "unable" to touch back.
I, too, have been put out of commission due to uncut finger nails. I have asked my dates with longer nails for some clearance around kitty if there's a chance she could be scratched.

Besides showing up at her door clean enough for surgery, I always trim my nails down as far as possible paying extra attention to the corners. No rough corners of skin either. If the lady wants her back scratched she may be out of luck with me!
And cash has been loaded into the envelope before my shower so that's a non-issue and I always try to excuse myself to wash my hands after I get there and I make sure she knows that I've done that.
