That makes two of us.

My personal anecdotal sample size in the "talking dirty to intelligent women study" (not funded by any grants, LOL) was modest,  only in the tens.  Based on your response, it looks like I have another data point; however, a self-report about your enjoying dirty talk will have to suffice, in lieu of my usual methods for data gathering, LOL.

As for your question about exactly what I said to the women, well, I noticed that you were a bit non-specific about exact words in your clip for AskMen, and I think you struck just about the right tone.  The words best used would vary each time and with each woman, anyway. But I do think your suggestion about a man changing his tone of voice and whispering in her ear is a good one, since it makes the dirty talk seem even dirtier to the women.

Let's both have more fun gathering anecdotal evidence of various sorts.

We are both partly just kidding/teasing here, but seriously, I think the reason why many very intelligent women are less inhibited about sex is that they are simply curious about sex, as intelligent people often are about a wide range of subjects other than sex.

That's very interesting, madiba51,

What's your anecdotal evidence and how many women in total have you tried this with? And what did you say exactly?

Then again, more intelligent women seem to be generally less inhibited.

i believe it would be safe to say, as someone who began reading complete sentences at age 2, and scored 120 points short of perfect on the SAT, that i could be counted among those who are smarter than your average bear (please know my lower-case typing style is intentional). and i must admit, i've just never gotten the "talking dirty" thing. perhaps because it puts me in the mind of role play, something else i find mystifying and unappealing. i'm a very serious-minded person, so naturally take the art of serving and pleasing a man sexually very seriously. one could say that i approach sex the way a monk approaches prayer...it is a moment of intense focus, concentration and devotion for me. so the idea of throwing childish games into that just feels extremely unnatural for me, not to mention it would almost be a disrespect of the act itself (again, in my eyes).

there is another factor which makes "dirty talk" undesirable to me: i've always had a tendency to think, and express myself, quite literally. i also have a tendency to initially assume that others mean what they say. this means that if someone were to say to me, even in the midst of vigorous sexual intercourse, "ooh you dirty cunt!" my reaction would be one of confusion, as i know that my genital area is quite clean. if someone were to call me, "bad, baaad girl!" i would likewise respond with confusion, because i know that i strive hard to be a very good girl, and have thus far been successful. what a buzzkill, huh? lol

so sometimes an overly active brain can be a liability when it comes to enjoying, or even understanding, certain expressions of sexuality.
