I've never had anyone offer to pay in chips, but if they did, I imagine I'd just politely request that they go cash it in themselves before our appointment. I mean I guess it's not the worst thing in the world, but it kinda strikes me as odd. Interested to hear other ladies' perspectives.

Question... In places like Las Vegas how often/common do providers get paid in Hotel Casino Chips?

I've never had anyone offer to pay in chips, but if they did, I imagine I'd just politely request that they go cash it in themselves before our appointment. I mean I guess it's not the worst thing in the world, but it kinda strikes me as odd. Interested to hear other ladies' perspectives.

Unless you don't mind going to other casinos to redeem your fee.  And you enjoy waiting in line for the next cashier to help you.  Worst is chips could also be fake.  So yes, I agree with you that this is an odd situation.  With all the hassles that could occur, I suggest it is very poor form by the customer.

Two years ago, I found several Black and Green cheques among my deceased uncle's effects from the Las Vegas Hilton but the LVH, being the new owners, would not recognize these chips to cash in.  Expensive souvenirs, I guess.

With myself and some of my friends but its more as a tip in addition to the cash donation.
I don't think it would be rare though, I've been paid in chips, travellers checks and foreign money.
But this is only when I meet guys at the casino, not from online.

On both occasions though, My gentleman friend and I were at the tables gambling together.
So I was able to witness the chips were real because his winnings were handed to him by the dealer.
As we left the table with his chips in hand. He very discreetly ask me if I would take these as my donation. I had no problem with it all. He even walked me to the cage to cash them in.
But it is not that often that you see that.
But I never would have accepted them if he had them in an envelope in the bathroom LOL
Because there are very good fakes out there,
But never ever accept a cashiers check.
I almost got scammed on that one yrs back and quickly realized that too many lies were there
I did get the cashiers check and I took it too my bank.
Thank goodness they told me that even if it clears within 2 days to a week.
It usually takes about 3 months but it to be found fraudulent. If I took that money out then I was liable for every penny I withdrew.
So it cleared in 5 days but I did not touch it and just as I thought 2 months later it came back fake.

Its a scam that has been around forever.
Hope that wasn't too long winded.
 Just my 2 cents worth.
 Kisses and Hugs,

I've been paid once or twice in chips. Cash is always preferred, but it's Vegas so casino chips are pretty much the same thing.

I have never had a problem with cashiers check fraud because of legal recourse assistance from banks & law enforcement agencies.  Just yesterday I deposited one for $20,000 to help a polite foreign gentleman get bank references.  I keep $15,000 and wire him back only $5,000 for my efforts.  I hear the weather is nice this time of year in Nigeria.

Providers can run their business as they want but legal help is almost absent when you have a complaint against a hobbyist.  As you acknowledged, there are some situations when accepting casino chips for payment are okay for you.  It comes down to your comfort level with the client, sort of a risk to reward, case by case decision.  Good judgment will generally keep you safe.

BriLV comment that "it's Vegas so casino chips are almost the same as cash" is nice but flawed.  Are there many stores in Las Vegas that will allow casino chips in exchange for their products?

I would question any client's motivation for even suggesting payment in chips for provider services.  I hope this post helps give the ladies some guidance as TER has intended.

While it is rare, it is not uncommon, but I also prefer cash and may ask to have the chips cashed before we begin our private time.  Accepting chips for a tip as extra is no problem, say for example towards the end of a session, but not as payment for the session as it may seem fishy for a gent to call a lady and not go get the cash while waiting for her to arrive.

During extended sessions, and dates where gambling is part of the fun, it's nice when the chips add up in your purse and feels rewarding from winning at the tables. At this point - the date is already paid for, and the chips become extra as a treat to gambling.

Often after a session I just want to get in my car and go, so it may be inconvenient for a lady to have to stop by the cage on the way out.

Beware of scams and fraudulent chips as that can cause a serious problem I can imagine.  To be on the safe side, cash is best.
