If she arrives not as advertised, you are under no obligation to continue the date. As stated above, just be a gentleman about it and say you'd like to keep looking. If the provider should argue the point, you have every right to tell her exactly why you are ending the session then and there. Misrepresentation is never cool.

Is a hobbyist responsible to continue a date when the provider shows up looking 10 years older and 50 pounds heavier than what is advertised on her web site?  What is the preferred protocol to address this situation?

politely say that you changed your mind, because the provider that arrived was not the same as advertised...you had based your decision on what you saw and/or read...i find nothing wrong with turning them away

did she have current reviews? And don't give her a cent in the way of a cancellation.

I only had to do this once

mature provider in San Francisco showed up to my room clearly messed up and out of her senses, smelling not so great

booked her off a reputable site.

banged on the door, barged in straight to the bathroom, took a loud piss leaving the door wide open and shot off an extremely loud fart

poorly dressed herself and came out in jeans unbuttoned half way up her thighs, white granny panties and wanted to "take care" of me

showed her to the door

tried cancelling with her, but she was not approachable (remember that bit about being beside her senses) started making a scene and demanded her $100 cancellation (50%)

paid it and hoped she found her way out of the hotel and not fall down the stairs and break her neck

bad experience . . . no, damn funny . . . yes

OMG, that's awful!!

I'm an adrenaline junkie, so I got my fix that evening from that, now I laugh at it

she was actually advertised as a VIP on the site i used

It makes you wonder how these providers stay in business at all. I would never show up like that even on my worst day!!! UGH....

I have actually had this happen with a long time client of mine and his brother chose to just randomly book instead of going with one of my friends or any other well reviewed TER provider.

The girl showed up as one hot mess it was bad, so i had him give her $100 for showing up and then simply said plans have changed and he can not keep the appointment, apologized and sent her on her way.

I am so sorry that happened to you. You have to do what is comfortable for you. If you do not wish to continue the date then you shouldn't have to. If it were me I would explain the situation and how you feel. I would also offer part of the donation for her time and send her on her way.

I had a situation once where I met my date at a bar in the hotel, and when I arrived he was engaged with another female in conversation. I sat down and he told me that I was free to go since he had a connection with the women he was talking with. He handed me an envelope and gave me a hug, and sent me on my way. When I got to my car he'd given me 80% of my donation. I was a bit in shock, but appreciated that he compensated me for my time even thought we didn't actually go through with the date.

I hope this helps!

That is why I keep current photos. That way when they open the door I am what they expected and don't feel like they were tricked.

Yes, it was a little uncomfortable..I did check reviews and of course nothing was mentioned. Based on everyones comments and suggestions, I believe that I handled it professionally…Thanks again..
