Personally I really recommend bringing a lady.  Sometimes the selection can be slim picking and I personally wouldn't go on Thursday just because I don't like the feeling of the "creepy guys" peeking and trying to paw at me and watch.   I have been to the Trap many times and couples nights are a good balance.  Besides if you bring a lady, you'll be guaranteed a sure thing and then you will also have somebody to talk to during your time there.  Otherwise you might be sitting at the back bar alone with a group of other solo guys and I don't see the fun in that if your looking for action.  But hey, you might get lucky and find some lady taking on the team and you can hop on the train, if she doesn't mind that your Asian.  It's really a crap shoot and there is no 100% guarantee.

Strike one: Thursday nights are awful at Trapeze. I used to take a lot of clients there, and I finally gave up on Thursdays, they were soooo slow. 20 or 30 people sometimes... way too few in that big a club.

Strike 2-- going solo.  The other posters are correct, it's tough going as a single guy.  

If you can find a lady to accompany you, you can go any night of the week
