a lady who had 20 year old pictures? You use (used) to see to (two?) ladies and neither has their age on there (their) sites? But you have no reviews?

But that would be clearly be false advertising.

Write the review or go home.

I am actually dumfounded why anybody responded to your post.

Let start by saying, I use to see to ladies and neither had their age on there sites. They did have photos that were one or two years old which was fine with me.
I always add a plus 5 to any age posted figuring that's a reasonable window and have never been disappointed.
Having said that, what is your thoughts on a provider that uses pictures 20 plus years old and states her age to match the pictures,
. When she shows up, she is definitely a good 20 years older than her pix. Now maybe age is not an issue to some, but if you are seeing a provider for the first time and she shows up looking. Like her mother, does this constitute false advertising?

I think that is false advertising. The guys should include that in the review if she doesn't look like the age she advertises

If she looks much younger than the photos such as you do?

definitely misleading and false advertising...basically lying to you from the very beginning, the way i see it...i am 42 and dang proud of it!

If the photos do not match what she looks like in person then I would say it is false advertising.
I'm not talking about the pics with alot of make-up and then you see her in person and she has no make-up or very minimal. In this instance you can easily see it is the same lady just without the glammed up make-up.
But if a provider is still using pics from 5+yrs ago and her body has changed drastically and she has not done new pics to show her current body that is false advertising.
If her body has not changed and everything is still the same as far as looks go I guess it is her decision on if she wants to keep her pics fresh and current.

I do a couple of shoots a year not because my body has changed since the last set of pictures but because most of the photographers I work with are from out of town.
So when they come here I jump at the chance to work with them.
But even if there is no change in the body I would think after some time goes by some providers would want to update their pics.I am sure it has to be boring for a guy looking at a providers website or ads and she is using the same pictures from 2010.lol

I agree it definitely constitutes false advertising but could you please SUBTRACT 5 years from my age because I JUST turned 40 and I'm still "dealing" with it!  LOL

Was this was an excellent opportunity to touch on a subject that hits home with me.  I didn't research who was saying it. I was listening to the point of what was being said.

that I can think of that has done that and I haven't seen her post on this board in quite awhile.   But otherwise age is of no importance to me and bringing up the topic is about as silly as whining about rates.   If the reviews indicate acceptable (by your parameters) performance and looks, that's should suffice.   Walk in their shoes for a minute......in general we guys know way more about them then they do about us.  And there's some seriously questionable characters out there

I have to join the other ladies  in saying that it's totally wrong.  I'm  straight up about my age.
I worked with a company on the East Coast who tried to lie on my behalf  (a  Long time ago)and I was called out in about half an hour.
It drives me nuts when  gals are claiming  late 20s when I know for a fact they're older than me.   If it wasn't about the bottom-line I wouldn't care, but it is.  It just sucks because as this situation shows exactly it makes the guys automatically assume  we are all older than we are, even if we are honest. If they're using age as a criteria to search  sometimes  that cancels the honest ones out. That sucks.

I can only speak for myself but all my photos are less than a year old. I use current ones, and ones that are of me. You will figure it out once you open your door, so why not be honest up front? Everyone wins that way!

unhappy if I meet someone for the first time and they looked or were 20 years older then the photos on the site.  Yes  I would see that as false advertising.

This post is like yelling fire in a movie, this is no basis, no proof, no reviews, no anything, yet he got responses

Unfortunately, adding five years is probably going to work most of the time. It's unfair for all of the ladies who are honest about their ages, though.  Maybe half?

Everyon is different. I know a lady who is lying about her age as much as 15 to 18 years and it rarely even is mentioned in her reviews.  We've all seen the ladies who use the same photos for 10 years and who never change the age on their ads or websites or if they do it fluctuates wildly.

I had a client who said he always adds 10 years to anyone who claims to be over 30. That was rather insulting.  I had another one who added years for each year the provider has been on TER because he believed that nobody ever updated their profiles.

My reviews all say that I look like my photos or better than,  in many cases.  I get new photos Twice a year.  I don't lie about my age but I don't say what it is, either.  I just say I'm over 40.  The last thing I want is for anybody to show up at my door and be disappointed in what they see.

Again I appreciate your feelings on this. I can understand the frustration if that's what you're concentrating on is him,  his credential, etc.
Regardless of who  said it this is a subject that some of the other ladies and myself have thoughts and opinions about.
You were commenting on the poster and we are commenting on the post.  We aren't validating or supporting him we are expressing our feelings about the  topic.   Just a different  perspective.

If they were you'd find yourself sitting next to Subway Jared in a cell on charges of indecency with a minor lol....

Seriously though yes you should let people know if you felt the pictures were outdated even if she claims they aren't outdated,  every review is your personal opinion on the lady and that's why people pay for VIP access to get the REAL details about a woman.

I imagine 20 years from now I'll still be attractive and I'll probably still look young for my age, but I'll definitely have had some noticeable changes. A photo from today won't be a completely accurate representation of myself in twenty years.

With that said, I never understand how anyone could fall for the decade old photos shtick. Do you guys not pay attention to context? I imagine you could look at a lady's teased bangs, neon fishnets and frosted lipstick paired with the grainy photo quality and conclude that the photo wasn't taken in the last decade. Haha

rs and Johns were not even using the internet 20 years ago.
So how was she definitely a good 20 years older then her pix ??

Geez don't you just love how people exaggerate.

Look if YOU think she didn't look like her photo. If YOU  were disappointed in anything about the lady looks , service whatever, then it is your right to write a review about it.
Reviews reflect personal experiences of that reviewer.

But don't just make up facts that you think you know.
The provider showed up looking like her mother ?? Huh?  did you see her mother ?
Maybe she looks like her father LOL LOL LOL

BTW if she showed up not looking like you were expecting ,and you were disappointed once you opened that door, well then you should have sent her home politely.
just saying

I may be a bit different in that I approach my dates as a date. Therefore I get ready by supplying all the info that she needs to be secure...references etc. Secondly I shower and dress appropriately. I stay in a respectable hotel which is safe for both of us. I prepare or have ready a drink on arrival. I recognize that my providers are taking a chance by coming to me  given the legal climate. I do not give out false or misleading information and expect my provider to get ready for our date and do the same. I also do my homework by  reading reviews and if photos are suggested to be old I back off. I urge my fellow hobbyists to be honest in their reviews and point out misleading advertising. I will turn a provider away if there is gross disconnect from her posted pic.....and yes in those cases have paid for taxi money. In the end this is a business and despite the fun and romance generalized rules do exist to be successful. This is the main reason I stick with TER reviewed providers....they have made the decision that they are  providers within a business model.

of ter reviews!     While I generally agree with your admonishment of the OP, simple searches can result in identifying the age of the photo.

Most of us do keep our galleries up to date so I'm curious if you have met with someone who appeared that dramatically different from their website or ad photos, or if this is just a question for discussion?

Keeping things updated and fresh seems to be the norm these days.  I schedule 2-3 photo shoots a year as my body is constantly changing.  I've lost almost 25 lbs since spring so I'm scheduling another shoot in Oct/Nov to keep things accurate (i.e. smaller boobs and derriere.)

So, if someone looks 20 years older and her published images look super airbrushed like the glamour types taken "back in the day," then I would say yes, that's false advertising.

Keep in mind, however, if she's on new meds or going through health issues that make her look puffy or "worn out," then that's a different story.  (I do think that if someone experiencing health issues since their last photo shoot should let you know and give you a heads up.)

Mutual communication is very important so I would say if you are disappointed when someone arrives, be politely honest.  It's worse to "stick it through" the engagement and then give her a negative review.  Maybe she doesn't realize that her photos look a bit outdated and needs some gentle advice?

*Side note...my mother is gorgeous, glamorous and elegant and I strive to look like her one day!
