END OF MESSAGE

As an ebony provider on the west coast, I experience racism more often than not. I have been treated differently and even called the n word at least once a week. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me anymore. Most of the people that say such hateful things are either intimidated by me or curious about a culture the don't understand, or that type of ignorance had been instilled from a young age.

Either way, I would like to address a few things in regard to such moronic ways of thinking...
1) NOT ALL BLACK PROVIDERS STEAL. that is serious b.s. in my opinion a thief is a lazy coward. I would rather ask and convince someone to GIVE me what I want. I have far more confidence in my persuasive techniques. And I make enough to buy what I want...
2) NOT ALL BLACK PROVIDERS HAVE PIMPS! I am a self made woman. I do everything on my own and for myself.
3)Speaking only for myself, I have class, and I am educated. I take pride in my appearance and I am far from ghetto.

however I am a no nonsense type of woman, and I don't have to yell and act ignorant or cause a scene to get my point across.

With that being said, before you pass judgement on a person, perhaps you should gain some insight 1st. I am a very versatile person. I like everything from 2pac to pink Floyd, basketball to golf. I can blend with just about any ethnicity, but I won't associate myself with ignorance. Lastly, the point I am making is, YOU CAN'T PRAISE OR FAULT A PERSON FOR SOMETHING THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OF!!! I didn't make a choice to be this shade of brown sugar coated honey roasted almond....(but I wouldn't have it any other way lol)

get to know a person before you put them in a box of any kind. stereo types don't apply to everyone.

Very well put I hate the way my ebony provider friends have been treated.

XXX,
Jasmeen

we are still having this conversation in 2015 there will always be some who are ignorant in this world.
All you can do is be yourself some people will always judge off the color of one's skin without taking the time to get to know a person

I agree, and the part that's truly sad is that those people will spend their days stuck in a prison inside their own minds. hatred is a learned behavior. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to try to unlearn that kinda nonsense. Smh....sucks 2 be them....

that you have this happen to you.  your attitude about it is great though.

no worries darlin,it's a mind over matter kind of situation...I DON'T MIND BECAUSE THEY DON'T MATTER...But it took quite a while and a bit of growing up to get to the point where it becomes irrelevant. but thanks though.

It is sad that society isn't as accepting. Generalizing what a few people do to one specific race is wrong. I say don't allow what people say affect how you operate because you have to be true to yourself. If you allow people negatively to affect you, then is it a beneficial thing to you? Be strong

Please don't let a few insecure jerks ruin this hobby for you.
It also goes both ways for the black hobbyists too.
I don't pay those racists any mind and move on to better dates or providers.
When some providers or hobbyists play the race card they only hurt themselves in the long run!

Thanks doll...and for the record I was not pissing and moaning, nor was I taking advantage of the race card. Like I said, I am proud to be the woman I am and I love the skin I'm in. It's really not my problem that some ppl are small minded. It doesn't change the fact that I make my money and I'm still providing and have a very loyal clientele base. But due to someone publicly displaying their ignorance a few threads ago, I felt it was about time someone addressed this situation. But I mean come on!!! Everyone likes a lil chocolate every now and then right? Lol

You have every right to discuss this topic.
Also I agree with every word you said in your thread.
When I said those playing the race card.
I was talking about the agencies or providers that use stereotypes against seeing just black clients.
Then those on here that defend this racist practice.
We are on the same page and again thanks for posting your comments.

We all know you are on the same page as your True Sweetheart too

+1000 ~ I agree with everything you've said here. Thank you :)

From kindergarten on I always had classmates of all colors. I didn't even know what racism was until in high school. When I joined the Army back when I only saw one color and that was Soldier Green. I really don't even understand people who dislike others because of color. St Louis absolutely blows my mind.

Thanks to you ladies and open minded hobbyists for your input. Love it when a thread is thought provoking and encourages intelligent conversation. Hopefully some eyes were opened, and the ppl still living in the dark ages are enlightened.
