Not being privy to what may have previously transpired, but I see no reason whatsoever that would result in "blackballing"  {unless you date an ebony cutie! :)}.  IMHO, you're simply having a rough go of it right now, hitting a couple potholes on the highway of life.  LJ might have been a good "patchcrew", but the fact that you have given her what appears to be adequate notice of your change in plans, is certain admireable.  I doubt I'd be incorrect in assuming LJ will be quite understanding and depending on the terms of the agreement relative to the deposit, who knows, she may just put it in escrow for perhaps a future rendezvous.

Hang in there, youngstud.  Cheers!

I know I will get blasted by some of you, so I thought I would go ahead and let you know what is happening.  The reason I wanted to go to Vegas with a lady (first Taylor till she wouldn't contact me back in time, then LJ because of her stellar reputation and promptness in communicating with me) is because of some rough issues I have had in the past few months.  I have learned that my grandma has leaukemia, my parents are getting divorced and my GF and I broke up.  I thought a trip there would be the way to treat myself to something good and clear my mind.  However, my mind has been racing and I don't know if I can go through with this and be up to having the kind of fun I want to and should have.  All these other issues are weighing on me so much that I can't push them aside.  I have contacted LJ today by phone and email to let her know and try and give her as much notice as I could.  

Obviously, I WILL NOT ask her for the $$$$$$ deposit back.  That is her's and her's to keep - especially for all the hassle I seem to have caused and time wasted emailing, phone, etc.  She has treated me better than any other lady I have seen before.  She has always been nice on the phone, returned calls promptly and responded to emails lightning fast.  All providers should take note of this about her.  I see why see has such a loyal following and caring friends.  

I know many of you think of me as a scumbag and just playing with people, but this is not the case.  If I had meant to do that, I wouldn't have sent her the deposit or I would ask her for it back or I just wouldn't show up next week and let her hang.  I am trying to do whatever I can given the circumstances.  I just have too many pressing issues and don't think I can push them aside to let myself have fun and to be fun for LJ to hang with.  

So, that's the deal.  Do with it what you want, but please don't judge me without knowing all the details and my situation.    

I figure I'll be blackballed from all Vegas and Phoenix providers so be it.

Darling relax . You are not the first or the last man to cancel an appointment .

You have given enough notice and it is more then kind of you to have LJ keep the deposit you have already sent her ..........

More then I can say for  some guys who cancel last minute and  don't even bother to pick up the phone to say they want to cancel . or guys that simply flake .

No reason to judge you , no reason to blackball you . You have been very fair .
Hope things work out for the best and that you will come at a better time for some Vegas fun with LJ .

I'm sure LJ understands and you did send a deposit,case closed, no big deal. Lj may even put your deposit on account. Good Luck

OMG! – Let me recommend the following

1.Get a shrink – clearly you have issues (and not much self respect for spilling such personal trama on THIS Board)

2.Get a box of Kleenex (see item one)

3.Get a pair of Kevlar boxers – you are going to need them

This is an extremely kind and thoughtful young man going through an inordinate amount of hardship at this time in his life.  He has e-mailed me several times, and I have offered him some requested advise.  He could use a bit of compassion and encouragement, not your wise-ass, psuedo sage advise of getting a shrink and some kleenex.

Is he overly sensitive?....yes.  Is he guilty of poor judgement?....yes.  Not federal crimes.  You and I were both young and foolish once too.  Remember?  Resist the temptation to be so hard on him, even though using an alias on this forum makes it a tempting thing to do.

Who is using what alias?  I have one (and have always only had one)  posting handle.  Given I am usually the contrarian on the board – and gladly so, why would I ever use an alias?  Or  were you referring to someone else and I missed it?

Just calm down, take a deep breath, find your happy place and you'll be ok, I really don't think you have to worry about being blackballed or blacklisted, So just roll with it man and you'll be fine
