I use to be able to do 120 with 5 errors at one of the part time positions I took as a data entry person.
I took 3 years of typing in high school my average back then was 90wpm. It was always a contest to see who was the fastest. I didn't make many errors because back then we had to use white out on an electric typewriter. I usually have 3 to 5 errors when typing now. I type at my current position, just not as much as I use too. All the new software does auto-correct which rocks! I'd love to be a secretary for someone

I've always been fascinated by the amount of beauty AND brains demonstrated by the ladies of TER and based on pretty much every man I've ever met by way of TER there's no doubt that the guys of TER are smarties too! I'm wondering how many words per minute everyone can type? I tested myself recently with a few paragraphs of text never read before (I was working on a civie work project and had to do some unexpected typing/entering of text) and was surprised by how fast I still am. I tested myself twice. The first time I typed 47 words with 3 errors. The second time (still all new text) I typed 52 words with 1 error. Not bad at all!!! I'm thinking that when it's time to retire Laney I might be lucky enough to be hired by one of my former clients. LOL!!!! How much fun would that be!!! His sexy assistant by day and his ravenous mistress by night?

By the way, I type 40 wpm with a couple of errors. Don't have to type much any more except for short bursts like this.
Shame on me!!! I'd definitely put her in a short skirt, white button down, heels and a jacket but on "casual" fridays I might have her wear a skin tight sun dress with some kind of plunging neckline or something that might even show a little bit of her sexy back.

of a bad joke. Back in the days of typewriters, there were those who mastered typing, and there were those who just new how to "hunt and peck" So a good female assistant was a good typist, while a really bad assistant was just "Huntin peckers" (Sorry)
...around the office that everyone likes to make jokes about not being the sharpest knife in the drawer but always being the one they want to bang!!!
My mom has been typing since they started making typewriters and I don't think even she can type 82 wpm without errors. Says a heck of a lot about our computer generation. : )
Never back to a full time boring job but I value being able to continue to learn and educate myself. I find that civie work in addition to my moonlighting hours keeps me sharp, smart, in touch and balanced.

Wearing the outfit is just the tip of the iceberg! I am great at the fantasy secretary/boss role! I love it!
It's funny when I type... I type what I see. I'm not usually reading it. If someone writes something wrong then it can come out pretty funny when my proofer reads my work.
Maybe we need a Secretary Theme soon!
