someone tried to use my handle (impersonating me) in their email to a Lady, pointing to my Whitelists.  

I was alerted to this happening because I keep in touch with a number of Ladies who have Whitelisted me, and I tell them that a legitimate reference check will always come with a piece of information I have given the reference asker to pass on to her. My provider friend alerted me to getting a false request, and we both told the asking provider the guy was a fraud.

When a Lady I want to see needs one or two provider references, I will give her names from my Whitelist, and the aforementioned 'secret fact'. I've taken to also alerting my provider that a reference may be coming in.  

I'd say less than half the time the provider I am going to see ever does contact my reference.

So I guess it comes down to what makes a Lady feel safe

It is a piece of mind for me that they really do recall seeing them and felt safe. I have actually contacted a provider that had whitelisted someone and they told me they wouldn't see that hobbyist again. I am not sure why you would whitelist someone you wouldn't see but it happened. I have 0 issue ever giving a reference for anyone because our safety (all of us) is important and I would never put anyone in harms way!

People change on both sides of the aisles.
A lady may whitelist a guy had a great session
the guy shows up fot a later session and the guy is drunk or has some other issue
