There are more engineering and science jobs open in this country today and employers cannot find suitable candidates. Since, most engineering and science curriculums are filled with immigrants, I say let them stay.

There will demand for 2.8 million jobs by 2020 requiring engineering, science and mathematical skills and 800,000 of that would require a Masters Degree or above. By the way, the 2.8 million is after considering university enrollments today and the number of jobs that can be filled.

Global competition tomorrow is going to be based on knowledge and skills not based on how much coal and oil you can dig up from the earth in the remote parts of earth.

What am I saying? Oh Lord, I don’t expect nuguy and the  rightwing to understand any of this. If they understood, we would not be having this discussion, would we.

Keep’em the rubbish rolling by willfully suspending realities.
