As others have said ... downtown is a great spot. Can't go wrong with a view of the arch The airport really isn't that nice of an area for St. Louis, it's just convenient because, well, it's the airport. The only other really nice area of St. Louis aside from downtown is Clayton ... very upscale and lots of nice locations for an incall there .. especially if you're going to be there during the week. It's a very business professional minded area (lots of people in suits 9-5), and then gets very quiet at night.

Visiting St Louis

Chesterfield, Downtown, Central West End/Forest Park Area, Clayton are all great areas to stay. Avoid Bridgeton, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights/Westport and St Charles.

The main thing is to screen. Like any city there is not only the risk of LE but there are bad clients as well.
