First off welcome to Las Vegas , I hope your enjoying your lovely location.  
Parking can be a issue for visitors , worst case they can always self park at Crysals and walk up.  

Afternoons are great , I believe they have security all day , there's s steady flow so usually if you just flash a card they are not stopping you.  

Most ladies have the key cards covered, you can always meet your company at the lobby bar for a cocktail and go up together. Or you can meet at valet or the coffee shop and  discreetly hand them a key to your place.  

Don't sweat the small stuff , it will all come together.

usually just meet downstairs for a drink, or to walk up together - easy peasy! Since you are there for an extended stay (lucky), discretely giving her a card in the sundry or lobby works fine, head up seperately.

to vegas.There is no shortage of things and ladies to do out here
Vdara is a very nice hotel with great amenities offered in your room.
You will not have any issues as others have stated you can always meet the lady at the lobby bar,valet,or pass your key card to her if you have business associates in the hotel.
In the daytime I don't believe security asks for a key or at least that was my experience when I went to the Vdara in the daytime.

Thanks to everyone who posted on this. Great community here! Everyone's comments were fairly in line with what I've experienced so far. Pretty regular security at the elevators doing quick checks for keys throughout the day. Just a wave of it and a nod and I'm in. True. I'm not likely to attract much attention of the sort we're talking about. Some D-cups and a mini skirt might warrant more scrutiny. I'll keep folks posted if I suss out anything else

On an somewhat unrelated side note -- looks like the window washers are working the north side of the building today. I wish I'd known in advance. I'd pay good money to get a couple of women dancing in the windows for them, those poor guys. Of course, that might not help my security profile, eh?
