I spent all day yesterday hamming it up in front of the camera with a new photographer I met on a modeling forum. We were having so much fun that we lost track of time, outfit changes and shots taken. Two hours after the shoot while I was still putting my house back together he messaged me to tell me we took over 1,000 shots together yesterday. I was blown away by the quantity -- not to mention surprised anyone would want to keep taking pictures of me for that long! ; ) lol --- The more interesting number will be to see how many of the 1,000 pics taken are actually usable.

Guys, can you guess how long the average photo shoot is? – And, not exactly a numbers question but guys, do you think the girls are A) horny B) hungry C) tired (muscles weary) or D) all of the above after a photo shoot? Correct answers get gold stars!

Out to the public. Sounds like you are using newbie photographers, they need to take 1000's to practice.
From one camera to another use your equipment correctly and you won't need 1000's.

.... and I thought we were having fun here!!! All it takes is one alias comment to take the nicest of posts to another place. Why are you upset that we took so many?
Truth is - we were shooting sexy lingerie stuff outside which is rare. We were having fun together so got carried away. We didn't *need* to do anything and since I wasn't paying for the shoot or the quantity of images taken why not go with it, feel sexy and have some fun
and he is the only one I use...He takes around 100-150 pictures, which I end up liking 20 or so. He originally wanted to shoot for free but I insisted on paying him and he gives me the CD right away. Then again, I refuse to photoshop- I only crop for privacy, so it is easy to pick out the photos I will publish.
For the record, I always book a date after the shoot as I get a little frisky when I do a photoshoot.

1) I average 100 frames for each setup doing between 4-6 setup's per shoot. Each setup takes around an hour.
2) All of the above, I have food and drink on the set for the lady so she can keep up her energy level at full peek. Posing is hard work! The results of picture runs around 10 to 1 for very good to great shots.
I always try to make it fun doing a shoot and the results show it. If model and photog don't click and work well together the results are obvious and the pictures show it.
If I was still working with film the ratios would be a tenth of the above quantities.
