You may be right in your sayings but what about Kathy, Colhogan and Fast Eddie constantly plugging for The Porn Star Weekend Site, and what about Singleton that most of the times Samantha Sterlyng post an ad on this board he replies with a shilling promo?

I'm not friends of Jldick50 and the others I've mentioned here so I'm been neutral and putting all this shill crap into perspective.

I think we all need to simply follow Kathy's advice, don't read it, and I will add to it, if you read it don't answer it.

Give it a break Mernole and crawl back in your hole, where you belong.

kosher, no offense, but the term "shill" is used much too often on these boards, and it's usually used incorrectly...

Shilling is when someone presents him or herself as an unbiased party who presents a positive review, usually for personal gain... someone who "wears his heart on his sleeve". such as singleton's regard and promotion of Samantha is just that of an enthusiastic fan who wants to see someone he likes do well - he's not looking to get anything out of it, and he makes no pretense of being unbiased.

I think this is the case in 95% of the posts that end up with the poster being called a shill.  Just a guy who met a woman he had fantasized about and whacked off to, had his fantasy fulfilled, and now wants everyone to know it and jumps at the chance to promote her... It's like the story where 85 year old Sam Schwartz goes to confession to tell the priest he fucked a gorgeous 18 year old... the priest says "you're not even Catholic... why are you telling me"?  Sam replies "I'm telling everyone!"

jldick50 can be ascerbic at times, and we don't always agree, but he's pretty upfront about his relationship with Mia, so everyone knows that his posts carry with them a degree of bias.  Obviously he doesn't need to "shill" for Mia to get "freebies"... he already has an established relationship with her, which he's spoken openly about here and elsewhere.

Kathy Willets and I are the creators of Pornstar Weekend, so we certainly can't be called "shills"... we DO promote it on the boards, but there's nothing against the rules about doing that as long as we follow TER's guidelines..

ColHogan is just enthusiastic about the P.S.W. project... he has nothing to gain by hyping it, that's just his nature.

If anyone wanted to "shill", the way to do it would be to sign-up to TER with a dozen different screen names, and promote their agenda's that way, so as to give the impression that there were many unbiased people who were shouting the praises of whomever or whatever.

THAT's what shilling is... but let's take it a step further.  Shilling is also primarily an attempt to mislead, as in the "plant" in the crowd at a three-card monte game... he wins three or four games in a row, giving the impression that the dealer is beatable, when in fact the game is rigged.

So what if a guy gets a break for promoting a particular girl, just as long as his review is honest, and all hobbyists who see her receive the same level of performance?  Where's the foul?  BIGPOPPA has been heavily promoting Ava Devine... so let's say (just hypothetically... I'm not saying this is true), based on his reccommendation, I book her, and she fucks me six-ways-to-Sunday... I leave drained,  weak in the knees and with a sore dick., the best sex I've ever had...  Then I find out (GASP!), that BIGPOPPA got a freebie from Ava because of his review... Well, who cares?  Does that invalidate my experience with Ava?  Of course not!

So I have to agree with others who say if you think jldick50's a shill, or that Kathy and I or ColHogan are shamelessly self-promoting Pornstar Weekend, then when you see our names, simply skip the post.
