You know, I've been to Japan twice and never delved into the Geisha world. Something tells me I missed out. There's something about the Japanese culture that is both mystifying and inviting and I've always enjoyed my time spent in it.
As for companionship, it's not necessarily the dinner dates and drinks that are appealing but just being alone in a room with somebody that knows nothing about your life, your situations, the job you have, the people you know, or any other unimportant pretense. Even the sex at times can be pretentious because it's expected. I guess it's sort of a form of therapy only much better since therapists are scripted and reserved. This is just two people, with no history together, simply talking about whatever comes up for an hour. I find that very intriguing but I'm probably different than most.They have these in Japan and was wondering if this is a thing here in the US.
I would assume it would be same as if you were visiting for sex or even more if the companionship involves having an outing.... That's just my opinion.... But who am I to give advise, I like SEX PART!!! 😆😆😆😆😆!!!
narrow down to a few ladies and ask about what you seek. Generally what you would be looking for would be a clock free date if they offer one. Usually anywhere from 6-8hrs for a set rate and is designed for those who want to go out as well as have a little dessert after
Have meet and greet rates. Some of us (my self included) don't list them, but it can't hurt to ask.
In Japan, I only did companionship appointments as a geisha.That was great and I love it(exception of Kimono and wig part).
Even here in the USA, I get requests for companionship only dates.They are not meet and greet for future rendezvous , but purely platonic dates like dinners, drinks or pretend to be his girlfriend for public for a few hours.
I charge it case by case. I love those dates.

Thanks for compliments about my country and culture. Geisha culture might be strange to Western people because there's no sex involved and yet cost a lot, but to us Japanese "less is more" and the implication of sex is more exciting than real sex. I know we are crazy...
You said "forms of therapy"...and yes, many clients said that to me after their sessions with me. I truly love this job because of that aspects.

I kick myself for not discovering this site earlier in life. Could have saved myself a lot of trouble and more money than I'd mention aloud had I found someone I could have rented as arm candy.
So the rates are all the same usually...
