You mean the war against abortion?  A subject which affects men and children too.

Willy, you can point to any topic and say it started 50 years ago.  Dems have been trying to paint Republicans as anti-woman forever.  

The thing is, culture wars -- as you call them -- are not just part of the political world.  Women have been mistreated and disrespected for centuries.  And in the world of politics, they have been disrespected even more, and especially by men at the very top of the U.S. political system.  Men like Presidents John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton who were notorious for their sordid affairs with women.  And Senator John Edwards who is currently on trial for actions taken while he was involved in an extra-marital affair with another woman.

Oh, what do you know, those three men were all Democrats . . . . .  Hmmmm, maybe the Republicans aren't the only ones with a War against Women . . . .
