Schaumburg is also a popular destination. If you're thinking of Wisconsin, Gurnee, near Great America, is right in between Chicago and Milwaukee. Have you thought about downtown Chicago?

Hello from sunny south Florida! I have been visiting every year for the last 7 years and always stay in 2 different locations (North Ohare and Lombard area). Well this year I would like to venture outside of the norm and break routine. So my question is: are there any suburbs outside of those two areas that need attention (near Wisconsin is also a possibility). And is there any areas I should stay completely away from. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks and hope you all are staying warm! Hugs and Licks SexyJoJo

you have it covered..Rosemont..Oakbrook or Schaumburg..the rest are dead zones..
