This is not one in the series of bizarre hater, self-destructive posts about "The Group" but rather an actual question. I am planning a trip to Vegas and so I have been mulling over the local talent as I prepare to start booking as my flight approaches...
In the last 24 hours or so, four different girls over on P411 are now quoting $800 an hour and another two or three have jumped up to the $750 price point. I am not complaining. I am not paying that, indeed, I have simply excluded all 7 or 8 of them from appearing in my future P411 searches, but I am curious if someone knows what is up with the bump in rates from 500 for all of these girls to 600 then 700, 750, and now 800 all in the last 5 or 6 months? Has gold been discovered on Freemont Street? Is there some UTR Dubai billionaire compiling harems daily? I am just more than a bit puzzled... Girls are more than entitled to ask whatever they want or whatever the market will bear, but does anyone have any insight as to what has happened to the market in Vegas that has not happened anywhere else in the last few months??? (Of course, by contrast, several girls have now dropped their rates from 600 to 500 in the last week over on P411).
Anyone have any insight to offer? Please, no snarky nonsense. Please. Please. Please. Post your crazy on some other thread. Just let a guy ask a question without bringing drama in the responses.

My guess would be that they had too much business at the $500-$600 rate and felt they were working too much and spreading themselves too thin. Raising their rates to $800 may allow them to work less often without hurting their bottom line. Most ladies adjust their rates so they have the amount of business that fulfills their needs
This week is also very busy with convention business which could account for the timing.
Whenever you have a commodity that continues to have high demand, usually that is a sign that an adjustment in rates is inevitable. The price point will continue to be adjusted, up or down, as demand warrants. It's usually that simple
I made the mistake of viewing the board without having logged in. The usual blocked accounts have their less than worthy 2 cents in this thread including you.
Ladies are NOT commodities but to most of us human beings.
If you wish to consider them slaves or chattel then consider their commodity value
to be decided upon by a cartel, aka The Group or in your example, OPEC. ALL cartels
ultimately fail. For the rest of you blocked "ladies" you should flame away at being compared
to oil, lead or pork bellies.

Any product or service can be referred to as a commodity. It is standard parlance in economic discussions.
Providers PROVIDE a service. The service is priced according to demand/supply and depends upon how much the provider of the service wants to work.
There is a pretty big difference between them all raising their rates "in the last 24 hours" vs. it occurring "all in the last 5 or 6 months".
If it was the last day, I'd say it may be because of an event, like the World Series of Poker starting, which would possibly bring a lot of big spenders to town. Of course, the big $10,000 tournaments come later. This week, it's the $500 tournament, so the players might not be as wealthy as is anticipated.
If it's over the course of 6 months or longer, then it could be any number of different reasons for each lady. Not related to each other.
The steady march up from 500 has been since last Fall. Mostly young, thin blonds. Gotta love young thin blonds! The sudden jump to 800 by multiple girls overnight just happened a day ago.
As someone said somewhere in this thread, the World Series of Poker is kicking off with the $500 WSOP event. I am guessing that explains it. Guys like me who know they will be busting out must be making leisure time arrangements for when they do. Indeed, I am coming to town for another WSOP event in a couple of weeks, which is why I am doing my due diligence research now, so I guess that is the answer. It just seems counterintuitive since summer used to be off-season in Vegas. But I guess we Poker guys do like to, well, I have to say it: Poke Her. . . .

BUT.......you would be surprised how many amazing experiences you can get from providers who charge in the 200 an hour, range. (Yes, I may not belong in this forum because it seems way too many hobbyists feel comfortable paying significantly more than this and far be it from me--a poor retired military person, to criticize them.)
Yet........you may be "one of those UTR billionaires from Dubai" if your price point is as stated. That is why I use the TER search function BEFORE I plan an appointment. Yes, yes, I know you already did this......you may consider a cold beer instead of a vintage wine.........from time to time......it may help your budget.

This is a great town with so many beautiful woman.
It something for everybody in all price ranges.
Just because a person pays higher rates does not always mean you are getting the best.
So everybody likes deals even rich people.
When it's a big concert or boxing match etc.
The rich are always looking for free tickets or tax write off on so called business trips etc.
How do you think so many hotels in this town get the high rollers to come?
It's all about the free perks when they gamble.
We all do it whether rich or middle class.

I am considering starting with a 90min minimum for new friends and returning friends can still book an hour. Maybe a 2 hour minimum for a 1st date.
IDK about the Vegas crowd but know that often rates are higher due to the volume of traveling clients who come through. They are exposed to more possible dates thus making competition stiffer. Some guys and girls are of the mindset that "you get what you pay for" and consider 800/hr girls to likely be a better date than 400/hr girls. IDK if this is always true, but just be sure to do your homework.

By those who constantly bring it up, congratulations you've obviously done them justice in getting them insane amounts of traffic so they could raise their rates!
It's Vegas, pretty girls are a dime a dozen but exposure along with great ratings is something they can actually take to the bank! Looks like all this slamming has backfired! Continue on though...
just find the right girl in the right price range that is right for YOU.

My are not sky high and I have a good TER score and good reviews. I can only speak for myself.
More power to them if they can get those rates.
Pretty sure all of the 10/10 ratings has a big impact of who you are talking about...
Search a little harder .. plenty of ladies out there that don't have the inflated scores with reasonable rates that are just as good if not better. Some of them have just been around a little longer before all of the 10/10's were being handed out. ;
They are not in higher demand, they want a "bigger fish".
They could be just desperate after posts about "the group" and
they trying everything to bring any kind of attention including this "post".
It does not seems like they have tons of new reviews like they use to.
Market will even everything out. Who cares, $100-$200 is not sugnificant diference anyway.
They could possibly pull it off, but I don't think they will go higher.
It will take more then yothfull appearance and inflated 10/10's.

Agree, basic economics of supply and demand but at the same time most incomes do not increase 20% every six months. Will take your advice and search a little harder for those hidden gems at reasonable rates.
I bumped my rates up recently because i'm making more movies and have fans who are keeping me busy. However I will always offer a special rate to loyal friends and locals.

it just means those of us who keep afforadable rates will be busier.
Ive had ppl tell me I should raise my rates - but I dont want to have my rate in the same category as "the group" because clients tell me when they see those higher rates they start to worry if a provider is part of the group or not.
So Im happy to keep my rate low
Please wait to raise your rates until I see you and then please grandfather me I am sure that some of those people are guys but I would venture to say that some of those people are also other providers. I have had ladies confess to me that they raised their rate due to peer pressure
