PSA- Aria Has Changed their room keys!

For those girls like myself who collect hotel room keys (so our dates don't have to come downstairs if they prefer privacy) the Aria has changed their keys. I haven't had an issue but a friend of mine was hassled and not allowed access to the elevators because her key was old!

Below is the newest key and be sure to keep an eye out on websites like Ebay because they usually show up there pretty often! For the new girls or for girls who have never done this before here are a few links:

Another hint. I ask the fellow to take a photo of his key and text it to me so I can make sure the one I have is current. If we have a match then I don't need him to come down and get me.

...sometimes hotels do use two or more different key designs at once.  Sometimes for different floors, or a special design just for a weekend when a special event or performer is at the hotel just for the weekend.

A photo of the key is good, but not 100%.

And also, let's not give new providers any bad ideas:  If you haven't met the gent before, and he sends you a photo of the key, don't assume he's on the level--it could be dome new wacky kind of sting.

She was not 86'd off of the property that happened to a friend of mine years ago who tried to use a old key.
Not at the Aria a different hotel.

However the sushi Samba key with the teal bottom seems always in rotation and I have never had an issue with it over the past 3 years!

While the fronts may change the backs never do (that I have seen)  sometime if I'm unsure on a key I'll act like I'm on my phone and pull it out of my pocket with the back showing to the guard and pass by nonchalantly. Also if I have a glass of wine in my hand I will hold the key with the back showing where it looks like my hands are too full to flip it around again never had an issue with this trick either and never had anyone ask to see the front of the key!
