Sorry, but irregardless of whether or not anyone wants to brand me as a democrat or liberal for saying this, I have to say that seeing Bush on tape this evening sitting in his golf cart on August 7th, one day after he recieved the missive about Osama Bin Laden, and talking to all of us about Iraq and Saddam Hussein, that I will not exonerate him from his lack of action.

We had names, we had knowledge, based on that August 7th PDB; we could have started a man hunt. We MIGHT just have stopped it in the time we had. It is entirely possible base on how we aggresively pursue other manhunts. As it was, nothing was done.

At this point, I am seeing individuals from both parties arriving at the same conclusions. Its not a partisan matter anymore. Its a matter of national security and what WASN'T done 5 weeks prior.

Im not going to be sucked into and lulled into thinking that we did all that we could. If that is so, then God help us!!
