BTW the Dallas Board is one of the slower regional boards on TER, Texas is not exactly a TER stronghold like it is in many other places.

...are not playing, but since this IS the new concept of a BCS playoff, we (myself and a girl friend; not that kind) are headed to Dallas.
We need a bit of advice. We have tickets, hotel room, airfare, etc, but we are concerned about transportation. My thought is to use Uber or UberX, to take us wherever we decide to go. Is this plausible?
Restaurants. I looked on OpenTable, and many good one's still have availability. Suggestions?
