Las Vegas

I know that some locations outside the strip will be showing it

My understanding it's locations off/ near the strip is not allowed to show it unless it's an MGM property

Just found out the fight will only be aired at MGM owned properties. It's been blacked out EVERYWHERE else in Clark county.

So how many seats is that, a few thousand? That's nothing.

Maybe I'm missing something, but pretty much nobody in Vegas is going to be able to watch the fight unless they watch it at home. Even other hotels aren't allowed to let guest order it in their rooms. So you can't even have your own viewing party

if your a rated player at mgm properties you can already get your ticket to viewing party I have my on hold already !!!!!! Going to be a great weekend

What tier level?
And how do you request it?

Is it you plus 1!?

I have a platinum card and I would gladly take a date as my pius 1 if this is the case...
xx

The thing is, no tickets have even been released yet, not to the event, not to any viewing parties. My guess is no event tickets will ever come out which is why most secondary sellers have stopped even taking offers. And they are waiting to see the demand for the viewing party tickets before releasing the details.

There is no way anyone will be able to get a ticket for $150 to the viewing party. Those will be sold out instantly, probably mostly to MGM guests who will get first crack at them.

An MGM rep confirmed it's blacked out in Clark country which is all of Vegas.

I'm either going to the boat or staying home but either way I will watch it on Direct TV for 89.95.

Yep... and certainly not going to watch it in the back of a crowded banquet room paying $150 just to get in. (I don't even think that $150 includes drinks or food from what I've seen.)

Pay per view is the way to go on this one if you are not a celebrity or a Multi Millionaire.

It's going to be a zoo no matter where you go... We are just going to do the pay per view thing on the big screen and avoid the nonsense and actually be able to watch the fight without being gouged.

The last couple of Mayweather fights, we (avg. of 6 of us) got VIP tables at places and ended up paying over $2,000+ with the tabs, etc. by the end of the night.

This time around, I'm figuring that $2,000 will be a great BBQ, great seats in front of the 65" screen and some hotties to join us. ;)

Some of us are rated players and always get invited to the viewing parties somewhere. For this fight.... not a PEEP. Even a client of mine that is a HUGE player at an avg. of $25K a hand that primarily plays at Venetian/Palazzo can't get tickets for this fight because he won't play at an MGM owned property.

Pretty crazy.... Let's hope the fight lives up to all of the hype

many ladies will be providing during the fight. It may be slow during the actual hours of fight, but could get busy after...at least for the winning gamblers. Should be interesting to see what the ladies say on May 3rd.

I'm thinking this is the biggest fight since the Tyson days... back when I was in the casino biz working in the high limit room where the majority of the Tyson fights were held and drooling at all of the lovely ladies the high rollers would bring in for the entire weekend.

Damn.... the memories of these guys handing over $5,000 chips left and right to their "dates" for the entire weekend to go have "a little fun" so they could concentrate on gambling was mind boggling.

Part of our job was tracking every $5,000+ chip.... one particular "provider" ended up with over $100K on one weekend during a Tyson fight. She would cash the $5,000 chip in at the table for $100 chips, play a couple of $100 hands and then take the $100 chips to the cage to cash them in. Go back to the guy and say she lost it to get more....

Funny thing is that when it was brought to his attention what she was doing... he didn't care because he ended up winning over $700k on that particular weekend.

Good times. There is going to be more money being thrown around in Vegas on this fight weekend then any city has ever seen.

Wishing the Best for the beautiful (well reviewed TER) ladies of Vegas to make some serious cash and spread it around in the local economy. ;)

Highly doubt we are going to get any lovely ladies to our little party that weekend unless they are fight enthusiasts and don't care about money.. LOL.

Get your best ads out ladies.... there is going to be a $Billion plus of cash floating around Vegas this weekend so get your piece of it.

Any hotties out there that want to hook up with me for an experienced card counter.... I'll only charge 10% of whatever you win and I'm sure we can work something even better out if you have an extra ticket to the fight. LOL!!

They are doing something right .. they are having the Fight on their property.. Even A list celebrities are getting turned away

considering MGM is a large corp and owns many properties Im sure high rollers are flying to macau (I would think) or their other properties domestic or abroad ..

what do I know Im just a well reviewed provider..lol (joke)

though I did casino  executive marketing for one of Las Vegas Greats here.. yes casino true hostess unfortunately the pay and hours where not as great as this industry :-))

btw LVCHI.. you sexy man.. did they really bother that whaler with some ladies side excursions.. ?Most pit boss and casino hosts could care less about that as long as everyone is safe and happy considering this is Sin City and Im sure he was taking money from the house in comps and also winning some hands/!?!

great topic thanks for posting..
I love the business and pleasure part of Las Vegas!!

No by beautiful favorite love that I can't wait to see again and take you out to dinner for some great clams... we really did not bother him. Just informing him of what was going on and he certainly did not care so we certainly did not care because he was a great customer.

$5,000+ chips --- every casino in town is supposed to know where they are going. Back in the day when I was in the casino biz.... keeping track of all these chips was a nightmare with it all flying around during big fight weekends.

Not so funny (even thought I laughed my ass off about his stupidity) thing is that one of my good long time friends just recently took $5K chips in the total amount of $25K for his business for payment. Went to cash them in and the DBAG had taken out a marker and owed the casino over $500K. My buddy got stiffed because the chips got seized once they found out where they came from to pay the guys marker off.

Yep... VEGAS... the most fascinating City in the United States. Lived all over the world and I keep coming back to Vegas.

Just got back from Dallas.. used to love TX but it SUCKS after being thrown in jail for 12 hours for having drinks at the bar of the hotel I was staying at.

In the process of selling everything I own in TX right now
