She "smells!"red_smile

I was reading a review in which a girl had scored fairly high (8 and 7), and in which the fellow seemed to have a perfectly decent time.  Then, at the end, seemingly out of place with the rest of the review, was this line...

"Oh yeah, she smells also. But remember, you have to ask or you won't get. "

Is this a code for something?  "Smells?" or does it mean exactly what it says?  I don't get it.  Anyone have a clue?

I was reading reviews.  In one of the reviews, the reviewer gave the provider 8 for performance but in his comments he said:  "

She proceeded to give me the best cbj i have ever had, really into it, then we proceeded to mish to finish. It went on for a while and she had a big O. She was very vocal which I love and she really likes sex. I would recommend her for a great time. Won't see again but it was fun in that she is so friendly and accomodating."

How can he give her the 8 rating given that she performs cbj and then says he won't see her again.  This does not compute with me.

I have posted about this issue in the past. Because of all the inflated reviews you are faced with the choice of inflating your own reviews, or making a good provider look bad in comparison by posting a review that follows reason and the the guidlines. I have emailed TER staff about this and they don't want to do anything about it. Overall, there is no logical connection between the numerical ratings and the activities described in the reviews. It is a lot of work to sort things out with a detailed survey of the reviews. One word describes the Boston TER review database, chaos!

I would kill to get my hands on a resicted copy of the data base and do some statistical analyses.  Staff doesn't want to allow access for people to do this.  I think there is a lot of interesting consistency in the information.

This database of information is the most extensive collection in history of sexual encounters described from men's point of view with ratings where there is an association of ratings with price (a very useful way to measure quality and satisfaction).  Lies, bad writing, and mistakes notwithstanding, it would be a wonderful collection of data for research.  Maybe staff should consider donating a copy to a university or research center if they don't want to give it to me.

Simple example:  how many civilian woman would read a book called "What Men Like" that was backed up by real information?    Simple suprises (for me at least) were things like how many men mention and appreciate candles, how often quality seemed to be associated with partner connection sex (vs sensate focus or role play), the loss of premium associated with male submissive sex, and low emphasis on female submissive sex (makes sense from a safety point of view for the provider).

Yeah: everybody gets an 8.  If I see one more 8.......

My rule o'thumb is to subtract at least 2 points from every provider score.

Nobody gets a 9 or 10 then, you say.  Well, yeah, and that's cuz.  Those are the rare, once in a great while exceptions.

I don't write many reviews.  But I try to be honest about tying the ratings with my true experiences and TER's guidelines.  I expected other reviewers to do the same.

I do not see providers based on only one or two reviews unless those are from the hobbyists I have come trust over time.

There are some relationships that can be teased out from the data.  I do this sort of stuff for a living.

Sometimes. I think I did in all of mine. I'll have to relive them to be sure though. ;^)
