I do same day dates.  It is always best to get prescreened if possible :)

Out of curiosity do any of you set up dates for the day you arrive? The down sides are flight delays, room not ready, etc but the pluses are that you are fully funded and not worn out from a few days in town.

Ladies- how do you view this? Are you ok playing by ear?

Hope everyone is well!

I always prebook dates when traveling. I've already done so, weeks in advance. Of course I'll need to make sure its still good for both parties right before arrival. I've always done so, with little issue.

If you are trying to see someone hard to get a date it's probably even more important. Sometimes dates fall through and plans change or some type of special kinda of date, I'd certainly think that the ladies would appreciate the early booking(s).

If you want a 4 hour date, you'd best ask early :)

Yes, I wouldn't book within an hour of landing, but a few hours later certainly.

I've done it. My very fist time was done that way. I wouldn't recommend doing that but an experienced guy, seeing a well reviewed lady no problem. Both can roll with any issues that might arise. I was only a few minutes late, but we where communicating the entire time.

I'm actually contemplating doing it again on my next trip. A few dates scheduled already, but trying to "sneak" one in right when I get there sounds like fun :0

As you mentioned in your post. I'm in Vegas for business often, usually for a few days. I book for the middle of my trip.

I love planners- important to establish a connection before you arrive, then stay in touch so that your play partner knows if there are changes in the schedule.  Then, all good if there are delays along the way.

You'll still be plenty rested and alert on second day, unless you arrived and hit the casino without downtime - shame on you!  Yeah, I've done that too.

Set aside some play money from your playing money so even if you lose at the tables you can still win in the sheets.

I'm starting to look around now for a trip in two weeks since I like to plan ahead so can be assured of spending time with women who've captured my focus.  If flight delays (four time zones) crop up then hopefully the plan above absorbs the issue and we still get to meet.

I agree 100%!

Not to mention ...travel days can mess with your mr just as much as too much alcohol can.

Get to town.
Get settled in.
Build up the anticipation.
Get some sleep.
Wake up knowing that tonight is the night.

They have ample time to get in, get relaxed, shower up...

I don't know why people obsess over planes being late. In 22 years of traveling the planet Ive been delayed only once-  it was for 30 minutes

That's impressive!  Wish I had your kind of travel karma.  In my case have had some delays stretch over 24 hours due to weather, equipment failure, flight diverted for medical emergency, flight diverted to remove passenger, crew exceeding hours and so on.

It becomes run of the mill after a while, and you just learn to roll with it while minimizing exposure to the areas where it's known to happen.  Examples: direct flights beat a connecting flight any day; avoiding Chicago in winter or on summer afternoons; connect through Munich instead of Frankfurt; Heathrow sucks but Gatwick adds ground travel to reach Midlands; open jaw flights trump connected returns.
